Well Wii U USB Helper Transfer Tool (which is the application described in this thread) is a home brew application you launch from the homebrew channel and which allows you to receive games transferred from Wii U USB Helper (the desktop app) via the network. Once the transfer from the app to the wiiu is complete, you just have to stay on Wii U USB Helper Transfer Tool on your WiiU and use the instructions specified in the bottom-left corner of the screen to install your game to usb.Hey thank you for the answer but up, down and X where? In Loadiine? I cańt find how in Usb helper transfer tool software (on my Pc) only how to transfer to SD and in the usb helper elf description it is writen "you can now install games" and, like I said, cannot find..how/where Maybe transfer to SD card mean installing a game for them.
Main problem is I doesnt have a fonctionnal gamepad. I've borrowed one and, with it and Only With it, I can install just fine on sys memory of hdd but no ELF (wud installer v1.0, v1.3) support the wiimote or the pro controller!!! That´s why Îm looking for a way to play from my SD card and I know it is not recommanded. I've tried everything even with HID to VPad elf activated I cannot select game to install and even worst I cannot send the installation command without a **** gamepad.. Im stuck, please help

No. WiiU USB Helper Transfer Tool helps transfer WiiU titles from WiiU USB Helper on the PC to your SD card, then allows you to install those WiiU titles onto normal WiiU storage (system storage or WiiU-formatted USB drive.)Will this help me transfer Wii games from the SD card to a wbfs hard drive?
Did you check that the version of the transfer tool is 0.6 or above? It doesn't say on the Transfer app screen, so you'd have to know that you downloaded it from github after the 10th or from appstore after Wednesday(?) of this week.On the PC, it says no WiiU found, and when the upload is "complete", it keeps "waiting on the console to install", although nothing is happening (I ran it for a good 2 hours).

Check your ability to transfer stably with a standard PC ftp client to normal FTPiiU. If that doesn't work properly, the disconnects have nothing to do with Helper or the Transfer tool. If it works, do the same transfer from the PC client to the transfer tool. That will tell you if there's an issue with the way that Helper is doing the transfer. While uploading the files to Wii U, the system keeps getting disconnected.
Need some clarification since "the PC application" is ambiguous. It could mean specifically "WiiU USB Helper" or "Whichever app I transfer with." Did you confirm that you can't transfer 5GB from your PC using a regular FTP client to the Transfer Tool (so the transfer tool must be failing), or are you guessing that it's the transfer tool because WiiU USB Helper on the PC carries on blindly? It looks like the transfer stops mid-upload only on the Transfer tool, but the PC application keeps going. I have auto-power off disabled, so this shouldn't be happening. I tried uploading a 5GB file through FTPiiU and it worked fine. It only happens with the tool.
Ok, but that means you haven't logically determined if the problem is with Helper on the PC side, or with the Transfer Tool on the WiiU side. You'd need to use your PC ftp client to try to send a 5GB install directory (not just a single 5GB file) to the Transfer Tool, and keep checking the client's log window for indications of disconnects or restarts. Basically, you have to isolate the issue if you want to be able to give @Hikari06 enough info to work on it.I can transfer a 5GB file just fine through FTPiiU. I can't complete a large installation (e.g Mario Kart 8) through WiiU USB Helper <-> Transfer Tool.
Unfortunately the network side on the WiiU is quite horrendous and I would not transfer such big titles since the likelihood of a network error is quite high (especially when there are multiples files, you can have errors when binding to the socket). I normally recommend the network transfer for moderately big titles such as vc,dlc, updates ,etc...I can transfer a 5GB file just fine through FTPiiU.

When I look at the SD card after a failed installation, there are remnants of the transfer which I believe is not complete. Mario Kart 8 folder was 2GB, despite the transfer reported "complete" on the Helper. The folders had no timestamps.
Sorry for the confusion!
