Hi guys! I'm looking at hacking my 3.60 Vita but wanted to ask a few questions first!

Should I completely sign out of PSN or create a burner account? How safe is it from bans? I own a ton of digital content I wouldn't want to lose.

Can you still play online without updating beyond 3.60?

Does remote play still work? Though this is less important, I'm just curious!

If the Vita has a hard reset/restore is the hack lost and will it get a forced update?

Sorry if these questions have been asked before, this is the first I've looked into Vita hacking

Thanks

I have not been banned from using henkaku

henkaku cannot access psn at the moment so no concern of ban or anything else, and remote play works with a work around tutorial floating around the forums somewhere.

You have to re enable henkaku each time th system boots. Use sleep mode if you don't wanna keep doing it.

Also update blocker is enabled when henkaku is active.

So far there haven't been any bans with Henkaku, and I believe it's likely it will never happen at this point. If it does happen, it'd be in a giant ban wave and would likely only effect people who used PSN features while PSN access was still working.

You cannot play online anymore, Sony broke PSN spoofing a couple months ago and Team Molecule has no future plans on fixing it.

Only local Remote Play works nowadays, you won't be able to remote play over the internet. You do have to have an activated PSN account on your Vita for it to work, though, if you're not activated you'd be prompted to connect to PSN which would require an update. The only way to activate at this point is by transferring a game from a PS3 to your Vita. If you downloaded any games to your Vita before PSN spoofing went down, you'll be activated as well.

Henkaku is a temporary hack, it must be reinstalled after every reboot, so after any reboot, restore, or whatever it'll need to be installed again. It's not lost after sleep mode, so you can simply leave your Vita on and it'll be fine.

And if you do a full restore, you will be prompted to update after first time setup but you can cancel it. The Vita will never install an update on you without your input.
