I have been having an issue getting Yoshi's new Island running on LUMA 6.6.
I'm also on LUMA 6.6, and tried running a installed .cia version of it. Ran with no issues, so I don't think it's a problem with LUMA.
Just ran my install to check for you. I can confirm what joe says. Mine runs without issue.

That being said, mine was originally installed on rei over a year ago. Just carried over to Luma with everything in place. Runs fine, including my saves.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Could be one of those games that doesn't work with the l2+clock option
Not completely impossible, but not true in my case.
I have the L2+Clock option enabled. Yoshi is running good for me.

Thanks. I appreciate the check. I wonder what I did... I wonder if my LUMA setup is borked somehow.

I have not. Can I do that with the LUMA updater on my 3DS or should I just do it externally with a computer and physically transfer it over to my SD card?

You should be able to do that with the LUMA updater on the 3DS. It's how I always like to update, and I also believe that it makes a backup of the current installed version to allow fallback in case of problems.

You could do either. I haven't tried running Luma Updater while running 6.6 to redownload arm9loaderhax.bin but you can give it a shot.

Eh, possible I suppose. Rei acted funny on me a lot at times.

I have the CTR-P-ATAE (USA ver) game and FBI says ver.0 Also, I am on ver# 0.0.0. Have not updated the base game.

Edit: Sorry, that was a really delayed response. My laptop WiFi keeps dropping connection.

Tried the latest normal and latest hourly. Both hang the game.
Just to confirm that it runs on:
N3DSXL EUR
11.2.0-35E
A9LH v2 (screeninit payload) (5 Part Guide) (SD only)
Luma v6.6 normal
L2+Clock speed.

It is one of my most played game and I never had any problem with it, ever since I installed A9LH (Luma v5.5 by that time) and been updating everything ever since and the game and save is always good.
Don't remember but I think the version I'm using is one I dumped with Decrypt9 to CIA and then installed it via FBI (back then)

Maybe try with another A9LH console if you can/have and see the diffs between them (and if your cart Works, at least).
Or try diferente types of A9LH payloads: maybe removing the arm9loaderhax from CTRNAND (or updating to put it to CTRNAND)
Also, set Luma to the basics and see if it runs.

Good luck...

Alright, Luma is running now on the old reiNAND.
Now I need to update from 9.5 -> 11.2. Should I update it from System Settings first before updating Luma? I Just reconfigured menuhax to autoboot into HBL unless you hold L+R, and that should keep it from booting into sysNAND. So I should be safe to update emuNAND without worrying about updating sys instead, right?

Thanks again. Was this explained in the 3ds.guide? I read it through about 6 times and never saw mention of putting the .bin in the root of the card. Only saw where it said to put it in the /luma/payloads folder.
Yes update within emuNAND in system settings

I just tried to install luma3ds, but I'm stumped at the very last step (following Plailect's guide)
Basically, I've got every working except for the Section VII Installing Tickets. After injecting the hs.app back, the FBI has been replaced by the Health and Safety again, so I cannot go to SD and select anymore files.

As I downgraded from 9.4 originally on an O3DS, I had to do the backup tickets thing, so I know I have tickets to restore (I'm not actually quite sure what these tickets are meant to be as all my downloaded games and system settings are as before I installed luma). Can anyone shed some light on this?

During installing I did accidentally skip 2 steps (I forgot to copy the aeskeydb.bin and DspDump.3dsx to their designated folders) but I found out about it when I was trying to select the Dsp Dump from the homebrew screen on Section VI and quickly inserted both files to the right folders. Would these have made a difference as to why I have the default Health& Safety instead of the FBI?

Hi,

Looking for some advice from the geniuses on here! I've just bought a 3ds with luma and a9lh. It has freeshop installed on it. I've only ever used gateway before, is there anything I shouldn't do like go into system settings or data management? Is there a simple way I could mess it all up? Appreciate any tips!

You don't need Gateway!
You shouldn't go into data management. It can bug and show everything as presents or missing games.
You should use FBI 2.4.2! That is the way to go! So if you want to delete something, you go into FBI and delete the game from there.

Hope it helped.
