I read a bittle bit about Homebrew and so on but am not complete sure what I need.
Do I need a 3DS with firmware 9.2 + Custom Firmware or can I play your game with just a homebrew Launcher on newer firmware as well?

They won't release a patched .cia since that's piracy which this site doesn't tolerate. They will most likely only release it for HANS and NTR. Someone out of the gbatemp universe will probably do a cia patch though.

I would buy it sooner if it was not already 50€ with additional tax raising it to around 60€.
Pretty similar to Digimon Adventure for PSP which is even more expensive, they really hold those games hostage besides the language barrier.

I love to see that footage. Hopefully you'll edit in the translated interjections and name-tags too. Although, is there a particular reason why the line spacing is so... bad?

I bought it new on february or march, it was like 47€ with delivery costs included, but it's from Ebay and I had a 10€ discount, then it was 37€, yup, the game is expensive and rare...
The data packs needed for HANS patches contain files from the game. It violates copyright so they won't be able to publish this here.
Or you could always wait for someone somewhere else to make a pre-patched cia, this is the internet and someone will do it, just don't expect someone here to link it.
On another note, apologies if this has already been answered, there are 24 pages to sift through, how do you plan to "translate" the English text within the game? An idea is you could use the "chicken scratch" when Jezail speaks...But it would feel like something is missing there.

The usual thing to do is to just leave it in English. It's not like it's impossible for a Japanese person to understand it.
