When i take the SD out, the 3ds does not power on, which from what i have read ion other forums is normal.
Yup so a9lh is installed. Put this file on the root of your sd card, overwrite if it asks you to, and delete the config file in the luma folder

Tried the file, When i started my 3ds i configured Luma3ds when request by turning on the following options:
  • "Autoboot SysNAND"
  • "SysNAND is updated"
  • "Force A9LH detection"
  • "Show current NAND in System Settings"
  • "Show GBA boot screen in patched AGB_FIRM"
Clicked start, the 3ds boots into sysNAND 9.2

I then restarted the system and tried to open D9 both by holding start and homebrew but still no good. The program just crashes back to the homebrew channel

Have you watched the youtube video i uploaded?

I also really appricate the help pbanj

Not yet, try cleaning up your sd card you have a ton of stuff on it that's not needed.
Also remove the firmware file from the luma folder, that is prob fucking up d9 from homebrew

AFAIK,there's almost no need keeping all the HBL things in the A9 card(without emuNAND) unless u have a emuNAND or sysNAND whose FW is within 9.0 and 9.2.
I've been away from HBL since I got A9 installed.

Hi @pbanj

I removed the firmware.bin file and D9 now runs :)

Do i need this file at all to finish the install or can i continue and finish without it?

Install step i am upto below:
https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-5-(arm9loaderhax-&-Luma3DS)

Upto section: Section IV - Copying RedNAND data to SysNAND

Thank you so much for your help so far

Just completed a second 2DS from 10.7U OFW, to 10.7U Luma3DS+A9LHax. Thank you @Aurora Wright for all you have given us. Luma3DS is amazing! :)

The one thing that made this really easy for me was having my first 2DS on 10.7U A9LH with a 9.2U EMUnand. That let me switch between OoTHax payloads because MenuHax kept shitting on me when I needed it most, leaving me without an entrypoint because a 10.7U downgraded to 9.2U utterly refuses to use browserhax for whatever reason for me, and I tried all the troubleshooting bullshit. OoTHax has a much higher success rate of loading the HB launcher. Anywho, I'm just now finishing up my second 2DS, and the guide is amazingly clear. I'll be posting an offline version of the guide in PDF form shortly. (The links in it will still be active, so no worries.)

Hello to everyone.

I have CTRbootmanager9 and up to now I was using RXtools and Reinand. I added Luma3DS 5.4 and it works just fine, except the fact that my DS flashcard (supercard DSTWO) gives a black screen. With Reinand it works just fine.

A friend here guided me to Luma's wiki page, and more specifically on section "Making Luma3DS work with an external boot manager"

The guide states that you have to change the path of a .bin file, but there is no .bin file in Luma's installation files.

I really do not know ".dat" need patch for the path. so launch dsiware or gba game on your 3ds and check it work or ont. if not work you need to patch it. of course you have installed patched these firmwares aleready. Do not need patch dat file.

Is this a hacked 3ds game if so why use gateway to play it?
