""""Setup
Put any WAV/OGGs you'd like to use on the "alarms" folder, located on the app's directory (as of 1.3.2 an alarm comes included).
Put PNGs (I think JPG is supported too) to use as background images on the "backgrounds" folder, located on the app's directory (1.4+ only)."""" ~OP

obviously there are instructions and steps missing to this procedure. i downloaded this software extracted it to a folder on my card just like setup says. And the 3DS menu does not show any app icon for this home brew. Please include more detailed instructions with proper references. people who are new to 3DS don't have the magical fore-knowledge required to set this up properly apparently (me). and thus are discouraged from further trying.

also a Note that this wont cause your device to get banned by Nintendo E shop would be nice. because i see no mention of such on this topic at all, but it is a concern.

Duh? It's not a CIA. You have to run it from the Homebrew Launcher.

This is an ancient homebrew that was released when banning was never a concern, and you bumped it for whatever reason. Not to mention that homebrew can not and will not get you banned.

what is a CIA? "Central Intelligence Agency"?

This did not say in setup that i needed a homebrew launcher. People assume a lot of unspoken things. thats why Instructions were invented. the instructions for this homebrew lack any mention of homebrew launcher prerequisite at all. inferred or assumed, it should still be in setup instructions, its not info magically conveyed to anyone imbued with their first 3DS. And i should not have to randomly shoot into the forum/google darkness in hopes of finding the all inclusive if elusive setup info. People these days often forget not everyone is an elitist forum reader up to date on the tens of thousands of posts here. Post links cite references. Or only the elitist few will snicker at everyone else unable to test drive your software.

I do not live inside GBA temp forums like most of you. I just got a 3DS, and want an alarm-clock on it that's not associated with mario :P my NDS did that fine. Google took me here. Instructions are incomplete and do not work as they are stated by the OP. I've every right to call them out on such. Omitted details assumed, are on the OP's head, not the curious adventurers intrested enough to give the OP's freely provided software a try on their sacred and bann'able little handhelds.
