heh yeah... thats the issue's i've been having when importing a raw ripped dae into max, broken rigging with most models unless its an fbx, but might be the dae coding for said programs.
Oh, you're here too? Should've known. (I'm from the Models Resource)

Maybe I should try importing into Max, and then exporting it as a v7100+ FBX.

but you can give it a try by importing it into max, then export as another fbx thats compatible with Blender.

Does Ohana have support for exporting as .cmdl? When I try to export one from a .bcres it closes the pop-up thing, and I check in the folder and there is nothing there. It doesn't show an error message or anything. It just acts like everything went great and acts as normal.

It was not implemented yet. Note that cmdl is not the same as bcmdl.

Well, if I might ask: what's the difference between all the formats and where they're applied, for future reference and all..

*.cmdl, *.ctex, *.cskla, *.cmata and such = NintendoWare Intermediate File Format, used by nw4c to create the binary *.bch, *.bcres and other formats, it uses a XML structure.
*.bcmdl, *.bcres, *.bctex, *.bcskla and so on = Binary version of the formats above, those are used by the game engines.
*.bch = Also a binary format created from NintendoWare Intermediate File Format, its somehow similar to bcmdl, but with a different structure.

Any other model format is game-specific.

So knowing that NW4C is available in.. places, it'd be safe to assume that the tools that the developers for Sm4sh used to create the .mbn model formats are still safe locked away somewhere...

yea, but *.mbn is a pretty simple format, and I already REd it, so creating a tool for this format would be easy.

Hey there, Fairly new to Pokemon ORAS modding n such. Been doign Loads of reading and such, and I have learned how to extract the game files n decompress them using Ohana and garctool. But is there an easy way to tell which files are the pokemon Textures/models? There a million files and more than half are unsupported by Ohana I've found maybe 3-4 Pokemon model files out of a hundred . So it would take me forever to specifically find what Pokemon I want to edit, let alone do anything else. Any help is much appreciated.

Most games, like Smash, sort things out by name.

The devs for XY and ORAS just wanted to be dicks, apparently, because there really isn't any way to sort them. Either trial and error it or ask over on that one pokemon modding forum to see if they have any info worth anything.

Oh, and welcome to GBAtemp.

Oh, thank you. And yeah I see that. There are a million files and digging through them/decompressing every single one would take weeks. Specifically, looking for eevee n Typhlosion. But yeah, Thanks, Ill see if I can give them a shout.

project Pokemon it was. and yeah it's down for whatever reason. Ill check back later.

Untrue, there's always a method to the 'madness'. People have even posted spreadsheets and lists if you're too lazy to calculate where things are at ;)

There is a trick to find a specific Pokémon on the files. First, you need to download AstroGrep (or similar program to search strings sinside files). Then, you pick the pokedex number of the pokemon you want, add zeros at the right until it have 4 digits, add a "pm" at the front, and search for it. For example, kyogre have the number #382 on the Pokédex, then you search for "pm0382". The file that contains the model is the *.pc file with the biggest size on your search results. And the texture is the *.pt file.
