Named after the Harvest Moon: Friend of Mineral Town - True Love Edition romhack This is a patch for Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns that allows the player to romance any bachelor or bachelorette regardless of their gender! I've been working on this hack for the past month or so since the game's US release, and although the hack isn't quite finished yet, I've tested it enough to be comfortable with releasing it. The majority of dialogue hasn't been changed yet, but I'm sifting through it all little by little. Changelog: Changelog v.1.0 Initial release! Player can see all marriage candidates' love events Player can date/marry all the marriage candidates Player can invite any marriage candidate in romantic festivals Minor dialogue changes made to the marriage ceremony Male Player Build Dialogue changes made to Ludus' love events Dialogue changes made to Yuzuki's first 3 love events Visual changes made to Yuzuki's 3rd and 4th love events Female Player Build Minor dialogue changes made to Illuka's love events & confession (not reverse-confession) Minor dialogue changes made to Silluka's first 3 love events Minor dialogue changes made to Lisette's love events Note: Pregnancy and childbirth events are... wonky. It's a fixable bug, but I've left it alone to act as a placeholder while I consider how I'd like those events to go for same-sex couples. Don't worry, you'll still get your kid! v.2.0 Male/Female Player patches have been replaced with just one patch for both player genders Event dialogue revised from: Child Growth 1 Child Growth 2 Child Birthday Marriage/Lover Birthdays Pair Birthday Family Meals Family Picnic Sealight Night Star Festival Starlight Gala Valentine's Day Marriage Ceremonies Revised conversation dialogue from: All blessing given from villagers when you get a lover/become engaged/have a child After-event dialogue in: Harvest Festival Cooking Festival Animal Festival Pet Festival Fashion Festival Star Festival Starlight Gala Sealight Night Goddess Festival Spirit Festival Festival of Plenty Edited friendship conversations: Wayne's purple, dark blue, and light green flower dialogue Ford's purple, dark blue, and light green flower dialogue Lisette's light blue, dark blue, and light green flower dialogue Ludus's white, dark blue, and light green flower dialogue Iluka's dark blue and light green flower dialogue Siluka's light blue and light green flower dialogue Komari's purple, dark blue, and light green flower dialogue Kasumi's light blue, dark blue, and light green flower dialogue All of Hinata's flower dialogue All of Yuzuki's flower dialogue except dark blue Child's white, light blue, and dark blue flower dialogue Edited lover conversations: Wayne's yellow and orange flower dialogue Ludus's yellow flower dialogue Kasumi's dark green, pink, and red flower dialogue Hinata's red flower dialogue Edited marriage conversations: Wayne's 3rd and 4th convo Lisette's 3rd convo Ludus's 1st and 2nd convo Komari's 3rd and 4th convo Hinata's 3rd convo Yuzuki's 3rd convo Greetings from all marriage candidates (Regular, lover, and marriage) Festival notices from Wayne, Lisette, Ford, Komari, Yuzuki, and Hinata Pregnancy conversations from all male candidates Download: v.2.0 Installation:Luma LayeredFS: If you're using Luma as your CFW, then you're in luck! Luma has a built in LayeredFS feature, so you won't have to deal with NTR unless you want to! To set up Luma LayeredFS: Boot up your 3DS into Luma's configuration menu by holding the SELECT button. Turn on "Enable Game Patching" In the root of your SD card, there should already be a "luma" folder present (if not make a new one). Make a folder inside the "luma" folder named "titles". Inside the titles folder make another folder named after the TitleID of the game you are patching. Trio of Towns' TitleID is: 000400000019F500 Inside the TitleID folder, make another folder named "romfs" From here all you need to do is download the patch (if you haven't already) and put the contents of the "SoSToT" folder into the the "romfs" folder. If you have the Hamtaro Restoration Patch move the "constdata.xbb" file from the "Hamtaro Patch Constdata" folder to the "romfs" folder, and overwrite. Otherwise, you're done! NTR CFW: If you have NTR already: You probably know the drill; download the build you're going to be using and paste the SoSToT and plugin folders into the root of your SD card. If you have the Hamtaro Restoration Patch installed, move the "constdata.xbb" file from the "Hamtaro Patch Constdata" folder to the "SoSToT" folder, and overwrite. If you don't have NTR: Boot your 3ds in emunand and open FBI. Go to "QR Code Install" and the bottom of the menu. Go to BootNTR Selector's Gbatemp page on your web browser. Scan one of the first two QR Codes. The only difference between them is their banner. FBI will begin to install BootNTR Selector on your 3ds, wait for it to finish. If the QR code installer doesn't seem to be working for you, go to step 13. Once the BootNTR is installed go to your home menu and open the app. Follow its instructions. When you're done setting it up, you'll have NTR! Boot this up before loading the game to play with the patch. If you haven't already, download the patch and put the "SoSToT" and "plugin" folders in the root of your SD card. If you have the Hamtaro Restoration Patch installed, move the "constdata.xbb" file from the "Hamtaro Patch Constdata" folder to the "SoSToT" folder, and overwrite. Otherwise, skip this step. If everything worked well up to here, skip the rest of the steps. Download BootNTR Selector and put the cia in /CIA on your SD card. Boot your 3ds in emunand and open FBI (or any cia installer) to install BootNTR Selector. For FBI go to "SD Card" on the menu, then "CIA", select the BootNTR Selector CIA, press A, and "Install CIA". FBI will begin to install the CIA. Once finished, go back to step 7. HANS: Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns doesn't seem to be compatible with Hans and there is no working method yet to get this patch without CFW. If you're on firmware 11.3 or lower I highly recommend installing CFW using this guide. How To Know The Patch Is Installed: If installed correctly, all of the bachelors and bachelorettes should have the flower showing their FP by their names. Talk to a candidate of the same gender of your farmer to check if the patch is working.
