I played the game on Citra, but only the beginning of it was in English up until around serving the first customer. The rest was in Japanese. Was that all that was translated? Or is there more in which I haven't got the latest update?
That was all that's translated, but more will be translated in the future.

I never knew it was this slow and after so many years. I am pretty disappointed. Thanks for letting me know anyway.

I honestly don't know if the translation 100% is gonna happen..

Any updates?
Are yall planning on finishing this? If so I am SOOOO excited!
This is from the Discord server (I've not seen that before, lol):

Currently done: 25%
Last date made progress: 30-07-2023

If they stopped, idk when they'll get back to working on it.

yeah its pretty obvious this person stopped working on the games translation, i still remember reading a conversation between the translator and someone else and how the translator made it clear that its too much work for them but it was majorky unsure whether they would continue or not. so i doubt it that they'll continue on, it was from the fashion dream convo when someone new joined in to mention something about the translation.

thats all i remember from that. so, i dont think they can even do it realistically

Maybe someone else could take it over?

yes they can, but a post needs to be made on here to see if anybody else is willing to do a translation for this game. i would have suggested the discord fan translation but they expect you which is extremely rude as heck for you to do it yourself, dont even know whats the point to even ask a question at all when their just gonna give you the boot. but yeah

Thankfully I know enough Japanese to get through the game just fine, the occasional kanji tripping me up but I really wish there was a more dedicated translation team...
Stopping to use my brain to read breaks up the flow a lot, and I can only imagine what it's like for those who have no grasp on the language qq

is there any way to help?

oh thats good to know :3 glad you can at least somewhat enjoy the game, and yeah its actually extremely terrible not being to understand anything what their saying. it destroys the fun of wanting to learn the story etc.

well um.. the only way i can think of is to contact mooshy theirself through discord since their the ones responsible for the english translation but i dont know if they will reply back or just be fine with you wanting to help at all? last time a person litereally stated if they can help out, no response was made when i saw their comment.. dont know if mooshy replied or just didnt see their comment so.. i dont know.
the other option is to make a post on here on the translation for the game itself to see if anybody can pitch in to help if you would like to do that.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    but that's a long shot

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
