Does this allow for changing the icon and name of the NSO app as well?
I am going to use that one as a custom HBL applet, I already made the override so it always loads the HBL when opening it, but I have yet to make custom icons and change its name to say "Homebrew Launcher".

Apparently on Ver13.0.1 the base icon patches doesn't work at all. My switch crashes when i add the folder to contents folder. Anyone having this issue as well?

try the latest sys-tweak https://github.com/p-sam/switch-sys-tweak/actions/runs/1414163580

rename it to exefs.nsp and place it in the contents folder of atmos as stated in the tutorial.

seems to be working for me, latest FW & latest atmos

for a quick back and forth just turn off the sys-tweak module. If you are using sys-tweak or want to permanently remove them you will need to remove the, from the /atmosphere/contents/XXX/ directories (where XXX is the titleID of the games you’ve modified.)

best way to delete all icons is to open the atmosphere contents folder (best via usb) and search for

*.jpg

and delete all

It’s something you install to do some MITM tricks. Changing icons is one of the tricks. You don’t need sys-tweak but it’s useful to get some very specific things done. You would definitely know if you had to install it for one of its features. You can read about them here: https://github.com/p-sam/switch-sys-tweak

I'm too lazy to upgrade.

The 1.1.0 pre release was not working for me. Will try again later and report back. Will also try those other versions on the linked clown text

Hello! I could use a bit of help, if anyone knows where I went wrong with my process. I dumped my titles with NX-GIC v1.3.0 and it displays them just fine. I'm not sure what I'm missing, but when I select the drop-down for the icon style, the drop-down is blank and there are no options. I'm on the latest version of Atmosphere and the latest firmware, and vertical themes work fine.

EDIT: Figured it out! Didn't realize I had to make another folder within Main and manually place icons there.

Have you tried using a working icon on these non working game titles? For example, let’s say that Mario Odyssey is one of the games with a working icon. Use the working Mario icon temporarily with The Binding of Issac. That will let you know if it‘s a bad icon or…something else.

For hbmenu you can try rebuilding the forwarder and supplying your custom icon? (this may be wrong approach…wish I could try it real quick for you.) Yup. This is wrong. You can do it by titleID as well.

As for icons not working I'm 99% sure all the icons work but if it's a grey questionmark I will gladly fix it.

so does that mean you can use the contents directory for forwarders like hbmenu? Will gladly correct my answer.
