Looking to build a pc. My main focus is to play around with emulators such as Yuzu,Cebu and rpcs3.

also keeping it suitable for future pc game releases like Cyberpunk etc

So far my build is:

AMD Ryzen 7 3800x
Radeon 5700xt - would like to get suggestions what brand I should go for.
Motherboard.....No idea...Suggestions please?
Psu is I assume should be 650 plus?
What RAM should I be going for?
Not bothered about a fancy case
Already have an Nvme drive and additional storage

Or do I just wait it out for the next gen of RDNA2 to hit

Not looking for crazy 4K resolutions, ray tracing and maxing everything...just something that will be adequate for my needs with some future proofing

You could go cheaper but this is the best price to performance to experience I can think of right now. As much as I like AMD, the 2070 Super is a much better experience. RDNA2 is too far away, the 3700X and 3800X have negligible differences. I opted for an X570 Mobo because B450 mobos might be too feature less to be future proof.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Here's a more budget version but true to your demands. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/69LYwh

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hzdfk6 not sure if that fits your price range, but it's got a lot of good stuff in it that isn't super over the top. also put two ssd on the list because fast storage

Yeah I don’t really have a budget but yeah that looks decent. I already have an Nvme drive so that will cut the cost further. Thanks for the suggestions

@raystriker 's build suggestion looks good, but just two little notes if you want something a bit cheaper... First up, 16GBs of RAM is more than plenty for high-end gaming and emulation, so you can save a good chunk of money going for a single stick, unless you plan to do 4K video editing (in which case you might need around 25-38GBs of RAM in my experience). Second, there's no point for the secondary drive to be an SSD since secondary drives are meant to simply store the bulk of things, so you can simply have your games on your main drive (1TB is enough for games honestly, especially if emulating stuff), then a 4-6TB high-RPM drive (pretty much only ~30-40$ instead of 300$) as secondary to store things in general or smaller-sized games (pretty much if a game is under 2-3GBs you literally can't even notice a difference since it's less than 1 second of load times total. Besides those two things, build looks solid!

We had our grandkids over yesterday and I got a small above ground swimming pool I filled for them to play in. Well today I woke to find 3 ducks swimming around in it. Don't mind really but they are annoyingly loud, quack quack. Gotta drain it today. Guess what were having for dinner, lol.

I used butter instead of vegetable oil, and think that's why they squirted out during baking, who knows

plus if you're making brownies or lava cakes for people with dairy allergies, you should use oil instead of butter anyway

I make rum cake for 4th July every year, I make it a week prior and then soak it in rum in the fridge all week. I flip the cake each day, and add little more rum, it soaks it up everyday, so good.
