Yes. will not tell anyone were but its not to hard to find them. But I know i will not be the 1st one to test an install from them.Interesting..so we can't convert..but we can search online for them?!
what paid products have become obsolete in a week of their release?Ironic how in almost every scene, people say the paid products will be way better than the free stuff until they become obsolete in a week.
>i dont get all the GW hatewhat paid products have become obsolete in a week of their release?
(two kind of examples, the psp undiluted platinum modchip, and the vita cobra blackfin)
but it's not the norm.
things like wii, it was a while until we got usb iso loading.
and 3ds, it was a while until we got free piracy.
gateway's cheat functionality (at leas the way i used it) still doesn't really have a 1:1 free alternative
i don't get all the gw hate, i was playing backups for months/a year+? before the non-gw people.
tx is really cheap, cheaper than a game. and you can play many games for free.
unless we get free piracy the same week/month, i don't think many people will regret their purchase.
but of course, if you have to save your pennies up week after week to scrape $40 together to buy the tx, don't buy it
my devices never got bricked. sure it's bad, but i was using my gw for like a year before the bricking code was added/known about, no problem for me...>i dont get all the GW hate
you like your paid products bricking your device?
>unless we get free piracy the same week/month
With the way this new tool looks, same week/month looks VERY possible as long as the dev keeps working on it.
Two things:things like wii, it was a while until we got usb iso loading.
and 3ds, it was a while until we got free piracy.

that's why i like gateway they kept updating. Two things:
- Each example you mentioned stopped supporting their paid products once free alternatives became available, which is why Gateway gets a lot of hate.
- It is likely that a free alternative will come out for the Switch much quicker than some of the examples you mentioned because of the universal RCM exploit and because of how fast homebrew development and CFW development have been going.
But they need at least 10 games installed on their switch, and those "extra" titles take up too much space.who's gonna be the first to delete a system title?
I love how you're on Twitter calling tempers ratkidsI have the feeling that on the 15th, a few more than interesting things will be released.
I'm not sharing this tweet to start another 'hey, developer, release this', or 'can I play downloaded games with this'. I'm just sharing it so other people can be aware of how the scene is moving, and in case the author wants to give a bit more of info. [personal_opinion]I have the feeling that the community is getting too toxic lately. We're suppossed to be here for the fun, and because we're curious about how things work. Instead of that, we have a lot of good people leaving the scene because a bunch of ratkids are bullying them.[/personal_opinion]
Anyway, a bit of hype just for you:

FBI looked way uglier.that's how fbi used to look
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
it doesn't have sig patches so not a real cfw.
It has been nearly two years since Gateway published an update.that's why i like gateway they kept updating.
That is pretty good that he made the thread then sent the link to the guy it's about just to set himself up.I love how you're on Twitter calling tempers ratkids
Yeah I know, but they kept providing support for a while, that's what I meant. It has been nearly two years since Gateway published an update.
>but that would be limited to eShop gamesThis doesn't necessarily make the SX Pro obsolete. Sure, in theory this would allow you to install backups, but that would be limited to eShop games, while SX is based around simulating a cart slot. Maybe Nintendo would detect and ban one, like the games without licenses, but have issues doing anything about the SX's fake cart solution?
