How about a game focused on Zelda, set during her seven years of exile in Ocarina of Time? That would make a great idea for a game.

This is actually something I would play. I've seen/read a lot of fans wanting a Zelda based game but I never thought they would work. But a game focused on Zelda becoming Sheik or as Sheik I think would be pretty fun.

Ya know, I've never felt like I really got into a Zelda game...but I want to try Breath of the Wild, however, I don't want to do it during the summer...I feel like I will blow by the game. I think I want to get it come fall. I feel like the atmosphere of the fall air will really indulge me into the game, especially with the weather and night time of fall.

starting by breath of the wild as first zelda game to see if you like zelda games is a bad idea.
BOTW is a lot too different from regular zelda games

Also HD ports of the Wii games would be welcomed.

Xenoblade Chronicles 1 is the MAIN wii port that i want as the retail copy is like £50 right now

THIS is me. I literally started BOTW as my first zelda and after 170hrs i beat it and enjoyed it. 9/10 in my book!

And yeah i agree that BOTW is very different in comparison too the previous zelda games. But then again i cant really say it is a bad starting point either as i started with it and now intend to go back and play through the past zelda games like oot,mm,ss and tp.

It is all about appreciation i think. If someone can understand the fact that the past zelda games arent going to be as vast as BOTW then i dont see why starting with it would be a bad choice. That is at least how i intend to approach the past zelda entries when i play through them

I mean that if you want the experience of a true zelda game, botw is very different from oot and top and alttp, and albw and links awakening, and oos/ooa, its very different from all other zelda games

I want to see a multiplayer version of BOTW, sort of like a post-Downfall Ganon Four Swords. Plus a shrine puzzle maker akin to Mario maker or the Portal 2 Perpetual Testing initiative.

I was watching a zelda series review by one of my fave Youtubers recently and he mentioned how each zelda entry is different to the previous one. So wouldn't this mean that all of them would provide you with a different experience?

I saw game play of how different Zelda 2 was in comparison to Zelda 1 and then how VERY different Windwaker was to every zelda released so far(at least artistically).

So since you seem well versed in Zelda allow me to ask you.

Does each entry provide you with a different experience or was BOTW the only one that broke the standard formula of a Zelda game?
