I'm not sure but wouldn't Gateway have to support B9S for it to load .firm over .bin? Unless you chainload it through Luma I guess.....
It doesn't work for me with Luma chainload.I'm not sure but wouldn't Gateway have to support B9S for it to load .firm over .bin? Unless you chainload it through Luma I guess.....
Here are the one's you requested.... I also included SafeMode9 (20170415) and SafeCTRTransfer (20170508).https://d0k3.secretalgorithm.com
Could you redo it for Decrypt9 (20170414), EmuNAND9 (20170118), and Hourglass9 (20170320)?
Doesn't work (At least for me with Luma chainload).Gateway firm payload if no one did convert it yet
Currently every CFW converted with that tool fails to boot, I would know because I sent both Corbenik and ReiNAND to test. Both of them resulted in a black soft-locked screen and chances are extremely high that gateway will result in the same thing.I'm not sure but wouldn't Gateway have to support B9S for it to load .firm over .bin? Yeah he said it didn't work. Good to know though! Thanks for testing the othersCurrently every CFW converted with that tool fails to boot, I would know because I sent both Corbenik and ReiNAND to test. Testing random stuff is what I do bestYeah he said it didn't work. Good to know though! Thanks for testing the others
Well if anyone cares, I tried it with Bootanim9 as well to no avail. Even tried editing the payload to look for "boot9.firm" instead of arm9payload, and same thing. I'll wait for someone else or @Wolfvak to look into it.Testing random stuff is what I do best
I heavily suggest you suggest this on this his threadWell if anyone cares, I tried it with Bootanim9 as well to no avail. Even tried editing the payload to look for "boot9.firm" instead of arm9payload, and same thing. I'll wait for someone else or @Wolfvak to look into it.
I already have, Lol. I just wanted to mention it here as well in case others thought it might work.I heavily suggest you suggest this on this his thread

He tends to respond better when you keep suggestions, issues, etc., contained to the main thread.

I will give them quick test later since I am actually extremely tired. Spending the whole night testing and working on sighax related stuff can tire a girl out.Looking at the way luma is converted to a firm, it uses the elf file and not the a9lh.bin. Try using that instead for Corbenik and other CFW's. The command would be firmtool build test.firm -e 0 -D <.elf> -C NDMA
I would do it myself, but I'm too lazy to figure out how to use corbenikI will give them quick test later since I am actually extremely tired. Spending the whole night testing and working on sighax related stuff can tire a girl out.
I think it might just be faster if I hit up one of my friends to help out then. Sending a few messages, testing will happen when I awake from my dark slumber.I would do it myself, but I'm too lazy to figure out how to use corbenik
i just gave it a try it works but doesnt, when it launches a (renamed copy of luma's new boot.firm to .bin) luma shits itself when booted in this manner :/ CTRBootmanager needs an actual update i'm afraid.https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-ctrbootmanager-ctrbootmanager9.431647/
Could you please download the arm9 payloads and convert them please since this application doesn't work on my computer
Thanks for convert. Work fine.Gateway firm payload if no one did convert it yet
Same, it hangs when loading /linux/arm9linuxfw.bin . Oh well.Tried to convert the linux for 3ds .bin (http://gbatemp.net/threads/release-linux-for-the-3ds.407187/)
It failed to run properly, seemingly due to it trying to load an additional .bin somewhere in the process which won't work.
I tried to, but the arm9payload.bin for Gateway I found on the site was only like 6kb, and when I converted it 7.05kb. I'm curious if the payload you used was larger, or if you did something differently.Gateway firm payload if no one did convert it yet
