High quality insult Mr. Tsundere-kun.Only your mom is dumber
you kids with your vaping...I prefer my blacks not looking like grey's and looking at colors through a fog
All 10 N3DSXL "black, blue, pink" models i've bought new in 2017 are Dual TN, no random luck or guessing game anymore.. Only TN option or you buy a used/refurbished 2014/2015 model. Could be that they used the same panel on the new 2DSXL and removed the 3D slider... lol
Also the contrast is so bad even staring at the screens directly.. all the backgrounds "accept black" look like a White background with tiny Tint of whatever color you picked and the background text is all grey instead of black.

Nothing looks grey, lmao. The only time it would look grey is if you're holding it in a way to purposefully LOOK for it. Do you hold it like that while playing? No. Seriously, people make way too big an issue out of this and the amount of black crushing going on with IPS panels is actually worse and has been PROVEN many, many, many times over. Oh, let's not forget about the dithering on the IPS's. Get real people. Someone at some point said "LOOK!!! IPS IS MORE VIBRANT WITH BETTER VIEWING ANGLES!!!" and everyone jumped the IPS bandwagon with zero regard for it's glaring flaws.
People still acting like screen type is a big deal with small screens. Those ppl deserve neither type. Their 2dsxl should come with og green monochrome gameboy screens.
They'll be TN.What's the point of this?
How could anyone possibly know?
Yeah, but TN isn't bad. They'll be TN.
Reason: it's a budget model for casuals.
Agreed.Still doesn't beat the Vita's OLED or phones AMOLED.
It's really not a big deal. Unless you jerk your head around like you are possessed, the viewing angle doesn't change much. I know, special snowflakes insist that their screen is infinitely better, so I'm not going to argue the point much farther. Those with common sense know it makes little to no difference which screens you get. Also, if u never knew there was a difference in screens, i bet those headaches wouldn't exist. Textbook psychosomatic effect.

Besides, TN isn't shit.
There is a reason Computer displays use Twisted Nematic displays.
They have shorter response times and are therefor ideal for gaming.
I never understood this entire argument.
IPS looks nice, sure, but is that really worth the trade-offs?
