would it be possible for people with old nand back ups (like back from 9.2) to restore them and then use the SecureinfoA to change the the device ID and then update? wouldn't that fix it? i heard that worked before but that it was patched on 10.2 or wtv

There are two people (btw that original image was from gbatemp) with screenshots from emails from nintendo confirming it's permanent. if you really choose to continue doubting it I'm sure they can show the email headers and quite easily prove its legit

I think you're okay, you haven't fought the main legendary, right? I forgot, but I transferred my Moon save to Sun, and I made sure it was right before I fought the sun legendary. in Pkhex there are a few options to I guess make the save a sun save or vice versa, like you can change your OT settings from moon to sun, and time settings from moon to sun

Thankyou, so I can continue my journey. Very happy lady. and yes , I did that, changed time offset from Moon Time to Sun Time, and changed Moon to Sun from OT settings.

It says I should copy everything except for the first 8 bytes and the last 40.
Wouldn't it be from row 00000000/ col 08 until row 000000F0/ col 07?


EDIT: Got it to work!
Was able to use this method and I'm able to go to my friendlist again like before the ban!
SO... Is there a way to get my NNID to work on it again or is it possible to "replace" my NNID with a New one?

Holy! I thought I messed something up with the imported save file. I just switched off my 3ds after seeing moon flute while I am playing sun. I was like, wtf is this? a moon flute on sun?

There was an experimental Luma build that did things in that regard.
Perhaps with some refinement, it could be made to work with random IDs, rather than the fixed one it used. And then who knows? Maybe the big N will unlink and let you relink your NNID with no problem? It's not impossible, given that it's a console ban, not an NNID one. (Even if it tries to look like the latter)

If it was an NNID ban, it'd hit my Wii U too. ;-)

Yep, My NNID isn't banned, still can play Online on my Wii U ;-)
Is there already a way to modify the Console-ID permanently with some random Numbers?
If yes, how?
I've a old, bricked N3DS which doesn't have a decrypted NAND-Backup I thought I could use this ID but... dunno how.

Holding Y+X and pressing A is not letting me delete the NNID

Im on the same firm so thats not the problem. I had some troubles with it myself but thats how I ended up getting it so just keep trying maybe start holding Y+X when pressing on the NNID settings and when you get the error keep holding it when pressing A?

If games require NNID you will lose them. But if you install the tickets again they will come back.

You can play with games that don't require NNID for example.
Sadly, i can't connect with Pokemon Shuffle anymore, 'cause it required a NNID

Reminder that with the movable.sed stuff you're basically recreating the seed of the console you transferred from, so if it's not yours anymore you're being a jerk and screwing the new owner over. (Wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo banned the seed if it was used online on two consoles at the same time).
