Where did you find out that there was A9LH V3? Did I miss something?

I ask because the update portion of the guide still says V2 but has the V3 data input.

sorry someone else mentinoed it, and i thought there was a v3, but there is not.
i looked through my folders and i saw a9lh v2' but the data input that i have is v2, and i see v3 in plailect guide.

will have to update it now.

Yes, I saw a V3 in the plailect guide as well which lead me to the assumption that there was and update lol.

alright guys, i have put the arm9loader hax latest files (from 16hours ago) into the a9lh folder along with the data_input v3 files, and i started safea9lhinstaller v2.6.1 and when i pressed select it gave me a warning.

Couldnt verify stage1 and or/stage 2 intergrity.

should i still continue?

edit: the fix to this is to copy the .sha files as well.. i am so baka XD

So kind of new to posting, not exactly sure where to post this... I tried searching on the forum but was having difficult time, though I don't think I'm the only one this has happened to.

I was following Plailect's guide on a 2ds and got to the 2.1.0 firmware part where you press select to install. When I discovered that my start and select buttons don't work. So would like to do one of these two things.

load decrypt9 on the system so I can restore the my sysnand and just forget installing a9lh.

or

change the installation button from select to one of my working buttons (a,x,up, etc)

Tried loading decrypt9 via the browser but this doesn't seem to work. With the four URLs listed in https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Decrypt9-(Browser) but they don't seem to work on 2.1.0 firmware

also git cloned https://github.com/AuroraWright/SafeA9LHInstaller.git and it looks like installer.c is the file to modify for changing the buttons used. Has anyone tried changing this file and compiling?

Just finished transferring my emmuand over and I'm up to the injecting FBI section of the tutorial where it says to dump Health & Safety to hs.app, and when I tried it said "APP0 not found or fragmented. Health&Safety Dump Failed." So out of curiosity I rebooted and selected Health&Safety and FBI v1.3.8 launched. Is it because I already had FBI on rxtools? Do I even have to do that step then? Probably a stupid question but I just wanna be cautious. Can I safely proceed?

Yes, the dangerous part from what I read is the arm9loaderhax install where you wrote over the firm. Now that you are past that just keep a few nand backups for if something breaks horribly, use the dummy safe hourglass ( in lieu of decrypt9) when restoring a nand to keep a9lh. Also probably avoid dangerous tools like gateway's unsafe firm thing and god9 and you should be fine. Since you already have health and safety converted to FBI you probably don't even need to bother with it.

Plailect's guide shows you how to convert hs app to FBI for the purpose of being able to install cias, he then shows you how to change it back from FBI to HS.
Lot's of people just leave the Health and Safety app injected with FBI. that way if they do a system format they don't have to reinject FBI again.

selecting hs.app and restoring just makes the hs safety app back.

So not something you need to do as we skipped dumping the Helath and Safety App.

I finally did it! Updated sysNAND to 9.2 using the 9.2 update guide and didn't brick!
My heart was pounding when it booted really slow lol, but now it's normal and I'm using Menuhax.

You'll want to update Luma3DS to a newer version first by replacing the 3dsx file but otherwise, yes. You can update your emuNAND to 11.1 without issue.

Since you're on a n3DS, you can also directly install A9LH from your 9.2 sysNAND and ditch menuhax altogether and even switch your emuNAND to sysNAND if you'd like. It would free up space on your SD card and simplify your 3DS.

2ds normally installs fine. However I was working with a partially working system.

You needed to look back a few posts to my original post. I have issues due to having nonworking start and select buttons, so was looking for a way to revert the system or complete the install since I don't have a select button to complete the install.

Hello! Hope someone can help me, a friend of mine bought a 3DS, it has A9LH and Rei, but no OTP.bin, so, I would like to get it again, and install Luma and Gateway A9LH.
So, first, did someone know how to enter on SysNAND? apparently it has EmuNAND on 10.x, but I am not able to enter on SysNAND to verify it's version :/
