Not really. I think his post wasn't an answer to your question but a message telling you that you had the answer just two posts above yours and still decided to ask.
How much FPS speedup do you think hardware acceleration will bring?
Can this work on old 3ds? If so can the pokemon ranger or the pokemon tactical one work? (Forgot the name nabunga something)
I'm not sure as to if this works or not on o3ds, but I can say that all of the Pokemon Ranger titles are not playable. Ranger crashes while Guardian Signs can't get past the gender select screen. Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia is currently the most playable of them all but only up to the school teacher introduction by which point it'll likely crash.
Because of the slow emulation at the moment the Styler controls lag so it'll be awhile until it's playable anyways.
Cool. I hope this makes a lot of progress. Given most of the hardware is already there, and also some software, would it be possible to code in the necessary parts for interaction with the 3DS Camera and IR Module, for use with games such as Pokemon B/W/B2/W2, which had it's own built in IR and was DSi enhanced to use the DSi camera?
Edit: Another wonderful thing this could do is patch the games to use the homebrew Nintendo WFC system? Maybe?

Probably close to full speed with dynarec paired. Might be the same speed if dynarec is swapped out for that.
