Homebrew [Release] OldSNES: SNES VC for Old 3DS users

banner.bin is the final banner file, built from the banner folder.
On the latest blargVC version, banner.bat generates this file after you're finished with Ohana3DS, and saves it on output\<game's title>\banner.bin.
If not found during the CIA making proccess, a "blank" banner.bin will be generated by make.bat.
This file used to be deleted once the CIA was created, but now it remains intact on the game's output folder.

That's what I read in blargSNES change log:

- JPG support for label image.

I meant JPG support for all images. (label, banner, icon)

Just download make.bat and banner.bat directly from the repository.
It should use .jpg/.jpeg banner/label/icon files if a .png is not found.

Does this run the games like legit VC games w/o any graphical or sound glitches or do they still occur? I want to install this on my o3DS and play some ActRaiser and Soul Blazer at full speed, I doubt Super Mario RPG or Yoshi's Island will work.

You do realize that even the official VC has problems with some injected games on N3DS, right?
What I am saying is that you really shouldn't expect that, yes, you might encounter glitches when trying to inject some games.
As for games that require special chips, I do think that blargSNES, just like the official VC, does not support any of them (might be wrong and it might support some, also not entirely sure about the official VC either)

No, blargSnes doesn't support any of the special chip games.
Official VC has Super Mario Kart, Pilotwings, and, japan-only, Megaman X2 and X3. No Super FX games, tho.

I keep repeating this everywhere: please look at the compatibility list (there's a link to it on the first post) to see which games will run and which will not. There are also notes regarding any graphics or sound glitches that may/will occur.

• Fixed problems with titles containing special characters (e.g.: Mario & Wario).

v1.3c fixed a lot of games, and so far only broke Harvest Moon.

I will be honest here. Don't expect much from blargSNES until there's something announced that even I am in the dark about. I personally am doing a few things with it, but at a very slow pace because of other obligations. StapleButter has things he's doing as well. With n3DS being at the forefront of handheld homebrew (with retroArch builds satiating the thirst for SNES emulation), most are moving on to that upgrade, giving less of a reason to poke around with something for the o3DS and emulation.

The source code is here to fork for anyone that wants to tackle it, to improve it, etc.

I really don't know if they're still working on blargSNES, and I hope there's still someone else willing to try it out there.

Does this run A link to the past? The wiki says that it's still incompatible with 1.3c (also it says that there's a modified rom that works, if anyone knows where to get it... pm please ).
