He kinda sounds like one of those "freeman of the land" types who doesn't acknowledge certain laws
But yes, breaking copyright law is indeed breaking the law
I thought US is the land of the free, stop crushing my dreams!

Oh okay, I understand. It doesn't cryptofix, it just adds the same SEEDDB entry that would normally be added by the eShop, bypassing the need to cryptofix. And this is only done on install, not creation. If you create a CIA, and install it manually, you will either need to use the latest FBI (It has the seeddb stuff in it) or cryptofix it manually.
Tickets don't have any indicator of what they were installed with. You can use FBI to view your installed tickets, but that will only show you the titleid of the ticket, not the name of what game it belongs to.Any simple way to see what the tickets you've downloaded are from this? I queued about 7 items and when I closed the app go into the eShop I forgot a few of them immediately and now it's bugging me!
I'm not planning on adding seeddb entries for games you don't install via CIAngel. The titlekey database site that CIAngel uses as a source has a seeddb.bin download option that is compatible with D9.Oh okay, I understand.
Would it be possible to add the entry in the seeddb, even on creation so we can use our own seeddb with Decrypt9?
I see, thanks for the replyTickets don't have any indicator of what they were installed with. You can use FBI to view your installed tickets, but that will only show you the titleid of the ticket, not the name of what game it belongs to.
Just to be sure you are still attempting to include the ability to grab the Seed when installing with CIAngel right?I'm not planning on adding seeddb entries for games you don't install via CIAngel. Yes, it's only when you are installing the game though. When you're just creating a CIA, then FBI itself will grab the Seed during installation, so there's no point in installing the seed with CIAngel (Since normally you're downloading it to put on another 3DS or store anyways)Just to be sure you are still attempting to include the ability to grab the Seed when installing with CIAngel right?
Good good. That's what I was thinking. Just had a momentary lapse of smarts and was making sure I was understanding it right. Do I need to include a how-to on FBI again in this situation? Lol j/k. You can search for it on the titlekey database site (Can't link it here, google it), or find the serial of the game from a site like http://www.3dsdb.com/If a title is on the JPN (off-region) eshop, has Japanese characters in the title, and I don't know/can't find the serial, am I S.O.L.?
It's not in either database, so I have no idea how to find the serial (Culdcept Revolt: Start Dash ver.). Guess it's not possible. You can search for it on the titlekey database site (Can't link it here, google it), or find the serial of the game from a site like http://www.3dsdb.com/

Last time I checked you can not. I always used it to cancel a download lol.Can I close my 3ds's lid while ciangel is downloading?
No. There is code that causes your screen to be locked in place while the download occurs and is released when it finishes. Attempts to override this behaviour will cause the download to stopCan I close my 3ds's lid while ciangel is downloading?
@superbudvar Ahaha, yup, that's it. In actuality, the 3ds disables wifi when the lid is closed, so we can't keep the download going when you put the 3ds to sleep. Can I close my 3ds's lid while ciangel is downloading?
Hopefully with enough RE Work we can figure out how Nintendo implements the "Download Later" feature and start using it.@superbudvar Ahaha, yup, that's it. In actuality, the 3ds disables wifi when the lid is closed, so we can't keep the download going when you put the 3ds to sleep.
I'm a little iffy on that, even if we figure out how it works, it would probably be akin to download via the eShop in that we don't know what data Nintendo is sending off to themselves about your console.Hopefully with enough RE Work we can figure out how Nintendo implements the "Download Later" feature and start using it.
I've pondered over this in the past; whether we could "inject" a download request into the queue for it.Hopefully with enough RE Work we can figure out how Nintendo implements the "Download Later" feature and start using it.
