Depends on the BIOS. I can get you an 8086 clone BIOS booting in a few minutes (15-30)Can someone make an old-school BIOS boot animation?

Finally, got my setup done. I know that this boot animation is a little specific, but depending on the interest, I'd be willing to make a few variations.
BootAnim9 with this GIF
BootCtr9 with this splash. Wait 2.5 sec for input or default to EmuNand.
Then, after something is selected, one of the 4 screens show with BootCtr9.
Bootanim9 --> BCTR9 --> Luma, just read the release thread, this isn't where you should be asking for help with getting the payload to work.Anyone know to make these work with Luma and BootCTR9
Can you make one for the bottom screen? If I rename it to "bottom_anim" it jsut crashes the animations. I have one for the top screen, but I need one for the bottom screen. Btw, nice animation. I like it because I don't always remember the buttons I have to press LOL.Just made my own minimalistic BootAnimation

Hope you like it
@dmc310 Or use the latest bootctr9 dev build from the a9lh thread(normal place for dev builds) or atm there is a newer dev build on one of the last pages of the bootanim9 thread.Bootanim9 --> BCTR9 --> Luma, just read the release thread, this isn't where you should be asking for help with getting the payload to work.
Can't you just pull it onto the batch file or does it not work with gifs?
That's how I have always done itCan't you just pull it onto the batch file or does it not work with gifs?
By now it supports pretty much anything you can throw at it, images included, provided you have ffmpeg and image magick. Can't you just pull it onto the batch file or does it not work with gifs?
Did you download ffmpeg? It's not working for me, that's why I asked for help.

Yes I did. And thank you Holy-Freak.Did you download ffmpeg?
Did you place it in $PATH? To check, open your terminal emulator (cmd.exe, xterm, or whatever the cool kids use now in *nix) and try to run "ffmpeg".Yes I did.
