all jokes aside ive had my gateway long before cfw even existed and guess what i still use it to this day. i have a o3ds that has a9lh and guess which one i use more?
I have no beef with Gateway users, honestly I want a Gateway myself as another means of storing my offline games (because private headers aren't worth it to me.) But I feel really bad for people who spent upwards to 80$ on this product and still don't have proper support. You would expect for people who paid for this product to have more cutting edge technology. Spending money then waiting for support is just sad.
Honestly, if they are having this hard a time supporting their product, it might be a wise idea to release it as open-source, because I am pretty sure the community could have easily made A9LH support before they did.

Just get a Sky+, no GUI bullshit and you can still use Luma. Or even better, just get a bigger SD-Card (64GB should be good) and have that M3 of yours in the cartrage-slot to keep dust out whilst being able to play standard DS games.

Last I checked, the M3 loader doesn't work with YSmenu and that makes me the sads. And part of the reason I want a Gateway is because I am also a flashcart collector and since it was the first cart for the 3DS, I feel it needs to be part of my collection first.

I also want a Gateway, but I want one for testing ROM hacks because I'm horrible at repacking CIAs, and I spend more time trying to repack CIAs than I do actually playing them.

They could just throw their 3DS away like they did their money on this product! ;O; Aayyyyyyy lmao!
Jokes aside, this is getting depressing for people who actually spent money on a product, only to have to wait an entire month to experience what other's have been doing for free.

Actually is 4 months 10 days and counting so far

the sky3ds+ is just a dead bullshit where you need to press the button to swap between game, no rom-hack, no cheat.

>Implying that isn't better than a terrible GUI.
no rom-hack
I thought you said that you're using Luma, you don't need to worry about signature checks with that for they're all patched automatically for your convenience.
You really like cheating... You don't suppose your compensating for something, do you?

Which feature are we talking about ? 10.3 "support" or a9lh ?
Not contesting, just asking since these are the two features they advertise as coming and that I feel like having been using for a while :P

I'm assuming *cough* that A9LH would include support up to and including 10.7; preferably a payload like x_Gatewy.bin for Luma3DS, so all you do is pop in your GW card, hold x on boot, and voila: press select on the home menu to pick a .3ds game from your GW card.

If you dislike Gateway that much then stop bumming around their threads for the sole purpose of shitting on them. Jeez, I hate seeing threads like this be derailed by people who want to meddle with others' decisions. If the topic is "Gateway site update" and the Gateway Team hasn't updated, then just let it die along with the lack of news. There's no need to bump this anymore with meaningless posts containing people who think their piece of plastic is superior.

Just a short GW update:

Things are moving along nicely, with private alpha testing almost complete, and just a few tiny small compatibility issues to be resolved which the Gateway team is hard at work on solving, and then they going to be ready to move onto the next stage with the first public open-beta test, so stay tuned for amazing news that is almost upon us and will be here very SOON(tm). :)

That logic would be nice if the posts didn't pop up under recent.

I use AKG K7XX headphones for daily use, but Meze 99 Classics when I want to *enjoy* the music
    +1
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean built in sound on mobo's has gotten way better but still XP handled sound better and X-Fi was still better than onboard audio even to this day
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Hell not sure what was going on but for like a few weeks MP3's sounded muffled, some driver or Windows update fixed it. Thank god lol
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Oh boy Massdrop has $1100 IEMs. Want, but not at that price lmao. https://drop.com/buy/campfire-audio-andromeda-emerald-sea-iem
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'd sooner buy the Meze 109 Pro if I was dropping that much on headphones. I don't even like buds/IEMs
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I got the Google Pixel Pro buds, they're good enough for when I need portable audio. And some really cheap IEMs that Dankpods recommends, I think the KZ ZSN Pro
    +1
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I'd stick with cheapo Chinese $10 ones quality is actually becoming on pair with name brand since name Brand usually quads the price up anyway loose one bud that's another $200
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
My Pixel Pro buds shit the bed a month or two ago. My wireless charger (which they do support Qi charging) absolutely COOKED them. Caused some problem that caused the case to heat up to 180F+
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
They were like 9 months out of warranty but I hit up Google support anyway and told them how hot they were getting and they replaced them with new ones because they wanted these for failure analysis lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    lol wireless charging
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why I can't bring myself to even spend $100 on wireless earbuds
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it's a cool idea but damn
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Apparently the case has a problem with >15W wireless chargers. Google design fault, that one.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I could live with wireless charging if the damn standard case doesn't block connection
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    how is wireless charging possible?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Dbz said everyone has raging energy senses

  • cearp @ cearp:
you mean generally, how does the concept work?
    +1
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Copper conducting electricity or something
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@Xdqwerty, power through a coil of wire causes an electromagnetic field to be generated. Another coil of wire can be set up to harness the power from that electromagnetic field and turn it into usable energy for charging a device
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Two good videos from ElectroBOOM that touch on the subject:
