fixed it by installing 1.4.15 instead of 1.4.17

Did you inject FBI 1.4.17 or 2.0.x? 2.0.x requires some extra permissions that aren't available with Health & Safety, so you need to use the older version.

@Plailect you need to update this on your tutorial, I also have same problem. after use FBI older version can open FBI in health & safety

I have followed that guide too and 1.4.17 works as it should on my o3ds xl. Do you have a n3ds xl? i will also receive one in the next days and want to to that guide again, i hope FBI 1.4.17 works also on it

@Plailect do I need to use PlaiSysUpdater to downgrade and upgrade my 3DS. Could I use sysUpdater instead since the other one give you a lot of errors. I use sysUpdater to successful downgrade an Old3ds

i did follow the guide on a old 3ds everything work until
Section IV - Copying RedNAND data to SysNAND

1. Reboot, then open Decrypt9 from arm9loaderhax by holding Start on boot
2. Go to "SysNAND Options"
3. Go to "SysNAND Backup/Restore..."
4. Select "NAND Restore (keep a9lh)"
5. Confirm and restore from emuNAND_original.bin

after that i realised that what i have now is 10.7 with no working healh safety app and yes i have a backup from both emunand formatted and emunand original and sysnand saved and otp.bin
and i test with sd card 3ds still boot without it. what can i do now as i said have all the backups

Redo the backup to make sure everything is fine. I did the whole process yesterday and took about 3 hours. The be honest I did not check the file sizes for any of the backups and everything turn out fine. The only one that I double check was the otp file to make sure it was 256mb.

It sounds like you restore the wrong backup. Can you still access Decrypt 9. Search your files and try another one

thats the problem looks like i have a clean 10.7 but with destroyed health safety app. dont know what to do. i have n3ds with auireinand hax installed and gateway flashcart laying around even an old nds. but i guess my only hope is to buy zelda ocrania of time and excute homebrew launher there only thing i dont like with that buy an cart and destroy it more or less to fit in my old nds or has someone a better suggestion what to do?

Also, I was wondering if there is a way to install CIA files with FTP or something so that I don't need to open the cover every time.

EDIT: For those who are wondering.. I had N3DS OFW 9.5 which I downgraded to 9.2, then to 2.1, got the OTP, then back to 9.2, installed CFW with CakeFW and then Updated to CFW 10.7 using ARM9 method (followed the tutorial)

You could use FBI+Socket Punch

Unfortunately that the only way you can access the homebrew menu. Try to get someone to let you borrow it because if you buy it from a store you won't be able to return it due to the anti/copyright policy

EDIT: For those who are wondering.. I had N3DS OFW 9.5 which I downgraded to 9.2 and installed CFW with CakeFW and then Updated to CFW 10.7 using ARM9 method (followed the tutorial)

Use ftProny. I never got FBI and sock punch to work for me because I use windows 10

Hey guys, I just found that (https://github.com/delebile/arm9loaderhax/releases) after tinkering with some things.
Is it possible to update, if A9LH is already installed? I cant find anything about that arm9loaderhack.pack ...

Nvm, I compiled the payloads myself and installed them with SafeA9LHInstaller.
I dont think they are console specific, so if someone wants them, let me know.

Looks like Uncart and GodMode9 wont start anymore. emuNAND9 and Decrypt9 work fine tho.

Hi guys,

I am following this tutorial now and am being in this step

8. Navigate to http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php on your 3DS (if you get a slider, zoom all the way in on it, then tap the very right edge of it; this can take quite a few tries)

9. Your console should load the homebrew menu

But the 3ds cannot load into the homebrew menu. It ask me to restart the 3ds instead.
there is pop up message "terminated script execution"
can someone help?

i am ini OFW 10.3 USA version.

After successful downgrading to 9.2, why can't I reinstall homebrew launcher?

I can see that hax slider when I enter http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php
WHat should I do with this?

I read another tutorial that I need to click at the right end tip of this slider.
But the browser show error and are forced close.

Hi just an issue on N3DS when you try to downgrade RedNAND to 2.1 version from part 4 section 2 just check if the 'save power mode' on system menu is off because it does not support on 2.1 and will make your N3ds look like it's brick with broken displays and black screens on some point... but it's not real... if it happen to you, you have to drive until system menu and turn it off....​

Section IV - Restoring the System

1. Copy your sysNAND_original.bin backup from Section I to the root of your SD card
2. Reinsert your SD card into your 3DS then press B to return to the main menu
3. Go to "NAND Backup & Restore"
4. Restore SysNAND from sysNAND_original.bin
5. Cross your fingers
6. Reboot!

i restored and was getting the next section of the guide ready with copying files. after i rebooted to get back in again it won't boot anymore and keeps telling me to power off and try again.

i m trying to install a9lh on a downgraded o3ds
the problem is my sysnand size is 954 while my rednand size is 943
if i switch to EMUnand the size is 954 again

is it a bug on emunand9tool ?
can i use emunand instead of rednand

i already installed a9lh on a n3ds with no problems and the rednand size was correct
