GBA games are not working in the latest AuReiNand nightly build (the astronautlevel's one). Is it just me or it happens to everybody? I patched my AGB_FIRM long before AuReiNand supported it natively.

Edit: DSiWare games aren't working, too.

I know that this is out of place, but I wanted a quick answer in case this really is a good deal. Modchipsdirect has the Supercard DS Two + on sale for $34.99, as opposed to NDS-Card's price of $56.99. Is that a good price for the DS2+?

My site has the commit message, it basically makes it so games released for the o3ds will run at n3ds clock speeds. Games like pokemon will run at full speed.

Other changes include no more need for a firmware.bin.

This alone wants me to get a N3DS. The lag on Pokemon bugged me more than it should.

Same, i was told that we had to edit the aureinand.bin or something and i looked in the "notes" that i was told to look st and i didnt see anything clear about it. I will look after work but i doubt i will find anything with my tiny mind.

Try manually patching AGB_FIRM. That will most likely help.
Might also try patching twl_firm too.
EDIT:saw you patched it already.

I'm so excited for pretty much saying "screw the dev units since we have aureinand dev unit patches!"

Change your arm9loaderhax.bin with ARN arm9loaderhax.bin . Patchrs are in there instead

Do what now?
I think what they're talking about is how, due to how the reboot patch needs to work, the newest versions of AuReiNAND require you to use a patcher included with it to tell AuReiNAND where the *.bin file you're loading it from is located. Maybe they thought you were loading it with some other loader rather than directly as arm9loaderhax.bin?

So just to reiterate, using your build, it's safe to delete the files listed below, as they're no longer needed? And we still need a default.bin?

patched_firmware_sys.bin
firmware.bin
AuReiNand.dat
arm9payload.bin
lastbootcfg
Yes.

Is your arm9loaderhax.bin from AuReiNand?

Gateway released some bricking code a while ago that bricked people who used Gateway clones. Problem was it also bricked people who changed their Launcher.dat in any way, so it bricked people with real Gateway cards also. That being said, i don't believe that blue card caused it, as iirc the bricking code was only for the red card.

oh crap, if i do not know what caused the permanent "error has occured please power off your 3ds and turn it on again" then i will go paranoid on my other 3ds'es ..

it literally forced me to use an entirely old emuNAND again and had me to delete the files, hmm.. good thing that i backed up my current updated sysNAND's just in case that error happens on either of my ogXL/nXL i have the backups.. but then i would have to wipe for the sysNAND restore again or not?

i had to restore emuNAND on my small OG because i did not have an updated sysNAND backup before the error occurred, but that being said, even if i had a backup of it.. it was actually the updated sysNAND that was giving me the permanent error has occurred issue.. i tried lot of things and that problem persisted.

formatted my 4gig mSD and copied the content back in ,still the same error, deleted the config files and replaced with new aurei fw files and still had the same error.

up until i had done a emuNAND restore and then i tested re-swapped(wiped my emuNAND) to use updated sysNAND only, and voila it worked again..

but it was such a hassle , and not knowing what caused it is even worse.

If you have problems and want to restore a backup of updated sysnand, you can just restore it normally.

Both should do the same thing, as your backup has a9lh.

but now i am wondering if i should go back to using emuNAND as my main NAND.. i am worried about that error has occurred issue.

maybe the updated sysNAND caused it in some way..
hm, but if i were to want my normal sysNAND back (the one i have backed up is on 9.2) if i restore that one on my current updated sysNAND , my sysNAND would be back on the boring normal 9.2 yes? LOL dont know what else to call it..

and well , maybe i should make a redNAND or something and use that for my cias instead. (since i dont really play GBA/Dsi wares, so i wouldnt care too much about having the updated sysNAND.. i only wanted that for a cleaner mSD, with a single partition etc.) hm oh well..

what would you suggest :/ ?

There is no reason to use a DStwo, just get an r4i 3ds wood from the same site for more than half the price. The advantage is that you get the cards faster since it's not from china.

@K3Nv2 He was looking into consoles for his house anyway (for my younger siblings and himself) and I had a spare XSX and Switch I ended up selling him at pretty steep cuts. I would just give them to him, but I did buy them with the intent to sell them... and college is super expensive.
