Will we need a card for the 10.3 or can we just use the 3dsx then downgrade to 9.2 and use rxtools....

Well, I think RXtools / any CFW will support 10.3 not long after Gateway

Yeah that guide's the recommended method, rxTools in Pasta Mode (it HAS to be Pasta Mode though or you'll brick) can also be used as an alternative and since it can be loaded directly from the browser without using HBL, is slightly easier.

I don't understand your question. Are you using menuhax to load boot.3dsx which is GW and want to be able to load HBL in emunand?

You know, they have already the blue card to perform NTRcardhax... I checked, the banner doesn't appear when I plug the card without any microSD, so it seems they can update it.

I wasn't sure whether or not the blue card is updateable in a way that could make it usable for NTRcardhax, but interesting if it is. Would make any cheap R4i knockoff fodder for it. Anyone with an FPGA, skill and time to kill feel like picking up a project?

Don't even need that much, just memchunkhax2 and a port of sysUpdater so that anyone can downgrade to 9.2.

I will try again. I renamed the GW.3dsx to boot.3dsx to coldboot into GW Emunand. But since the homebrelauncher.cia uses the boot.3dsx file too I cannot run the normal HB-Menu inside Emunand.
So I was wondering if there is a way (besides using CTRBootManager) to keep the GW-File named boot.3dsx and run the HomebrewLoader.cia correctly with a different file name (e.g. bootHBL.3dsx).

(I hope this makes more sense now, but it still seems to be hard to understand even for me lol damn you English!)

I cannot get this to boot, my setup is - 9.2E O3DS, menuhax 2.5 no buttons.
When i set GW.3dsx as boot.3dsx, it just freezes, then i tried CTRbootmanager, and I get the same results.

How are you all getting this to work??

Now they only need to work on emunand support for the New Nintendo 3DS(XL) and I finally can buy a N3DS(XL)!
I'am currently on 9.2. When the update that supports 10.3 is released, should I update my 3DS to1.3?
And if yes, I only need to run my gateway in sysnand and load a game with that update and update?
