thanks. took a bit of trial and error but i got it running.

will you work on the egging function more? as it seems, right now, all it does is put the existing pokemon into a shell, leaving all data that's normally generated upon hatching (like meeting level and date and though i didnt check, OT data too) in place, even after the hatch.
i thought that hatching might be an easy way to force the game into generating legal values and making the hatcher the ot.
wheres the option to put it in an egg ?

I know this is a late reply but it would be cool if we could be able to make an egglocke or a randomizer with PCHex. Don't kill me if this isn't possible (I'm a noob)

  1. Get a new save game
  2. get a homebrew save data dumper/injector
  3. find an egglocke pcdata.bin
  4. open pkhex
  5. open your save
  6. drag your pcdata.bin to your boxes
  7. save the changes
  8. go to the save manager
  9. apply it to your game
  10. enjoy

I can't run PKHex on a chromebook :( That's why I said PCHex. Oh well, thanks for your help though.

OK little update I've got a (somewhat) stable build with an online box, heres how you use it:

1. From the main screen press B to log in.
2. Choose a login and password, then change Register to Yes.
3. Select 'Login : 0' and press A. When your uuid is generated, it is safe to back out with start.
4. Scroll up to box 32 and enjoy your new online box!

If you guys want, I can add even more boxes just by changing the hard-coded limit.

Enjoy

@jayeshwar nat, Try pressing A just one more time?
Are you accessing PCHex via the Internet Browser hack? If not, are your internet settings all configured correctly?

A little update: i ported most of the PCHex's code (which is really understandable, thx to Stracker) to C++this weekend and refactored it using a multi-layered approach. It does seem a pointless work but it will help for future developments and it will be easier for others to contribute (as the core classes of the software provide now an easy to use interface)

A lot of code from PCHex is used but a lot is written from scratch, for now i'm able to clone pokemon and modify some parameters (shinify, nature and other things), i will work on a skeleton for a gui this week hoping to rapidly reach the level of stability and the number of functions of the original PCHex. My hope is to post screenshots, source code and a pre-alpha build to test this week (unfortunately this is an hobby and i do other things to pay the bills)

Awesome stuff man, I'm excited to see the results! I have a question though, are there plans to add a way to set a Pokemon's Amie happiness?
