you need to use rxtools or cakes with mset or spiderhax entrypoints.

At least one of those cfw's should work fine. Just google their names for a tutorial.

I'm using rxtools with mset and Cubic ninja doesn't work for me, I get an error every time

Check the directions carefully and try again. Post in the rxtools threads for help.

And don't mention Cubic Ninja again, it's irrelevant without the cartridge on your firmware.

How do I run homebrew then, I can't find that anywhere?

Ok, I misunderstood you sorry.

Try this and see if it works. Smea puts ninjhax 1.1 on his old crappy server because he hates it and wants it to die. (my opinion )

Do you have the Internet Browser installed? Ninjhax needs it to run it's exploit.

I had to use the browser to install rxtools

Of course you can, it patches sig checks. And that's all it does which may fix the problem.
Are you running emunand by any chance? What firmware if so.

also when I ran in dev mode I couldn't launch it I'll try again

Yeah, you're in emunand 4.5.

Delete CN from your emunand and install it in sysnand instead. (On the SD of course).
Dev mode only runs on sysnand.

When running FBI in Sysnand it tells me my sd card was removed

While in emunand, install FBI to your SD card. Better yet, devmen 2x so there's no conflict.
