I doubt it actually works since hblauncher payload doesn't seem to support 8.1J@Dean_
Does the CIA installer support installing HBL into N3DS 8.1.0-0J?
If it was yes, then we could
- Install & Run CIA installer on GW SysNAND
- Use HomeMenuHax to launch CakesFW
- CIA upgrading SysNAND
Yesif i use the themehax installer from the starter pack on smea's page does it include the latest themehax build?

There's no payload/exploit for New 3DS versions below 9.0, Cubic Ninja or otherwise.I doubt it actually works since hblauncher payload doesn't seem to support 8.1J
Also for O3DS (except for NH1.x, of course). There's no payload/exploit for New 3DS versions below 9.0, Cubic Ninja or otherwise.
Ninjhax 1 for Old 3DS goes as far back as 4.0.0-7. On New 3DS, however, 9.0+ is required even for Ninjhax 1. Tried to be more clear. Also for O3DS.

Removing just theme extdata from SD will make system work fine.ThemeHax Warning!
If you gonna system transffer your 3DS/N3DS to a new system:
REMOVE ThemeHax before the transffer!
I did a transffer from 2DS to N3DS XL (Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer Pack) after the succesfull transffer and taking out the MicroSD from the SD adapter and placing it in the N3DSXL
the system got stuck at a black screen, nothing else, only a hard power off OR removing the SD and putting it back would help, this would boot your system further and into the Home Menu and everything worked fine. After messing around with other MicroSD SD's, removing everything from the SD and only leaving Nintendo 3DS folder, reformatting and placing back only the Nintendo 3DS folder, the result was always the same, suddenly i figured it out, ThemeHax was installed.
So i did the following stuff and the N3DS XL boots normal again
Yes i could have placed an empty MicroSD and let the system make everything new and redownload everything
- BUT I would lose IronFall! so that was no option
Easy Solution:
Place the starter pack from Smealum on your SD
Boot your 3DS till it stays on the black screen
Remove MicroSD and put it back in, your system will boot up
Turn off WiFi, Go to the browser and do the BrowserHax
Once in HBL start ThemeHax installer and let it do it's job
Once back in HBL, press START and A to return to your 3DS home menu
Turn system off and back on
Voila it boots normally again.
isn't there your DLC and Game updates in stored? (i wanted to keep the IronFall v1.1 update)
Anyway, doesn't hurt to warn ppl about it
Not the whole /extdata/ directory but theme-related one. You can find it on the page.isn't there your DLC and Game updates in stored? (i wanted to keep the IronFall v1.1 update)
Yes, really there is not a big issue with that... Possibly problem is only because a payload incompatibility issue (for this reason, reinstalling the hax on the new console solve this)! Not the whole /extdata/ directory but theme-related one. You can find it on the page.
Or before transfer, changing your theme to another one will be enough

That would be awesome. Count me in.Would anybody be interested in a version of themehax_installer that is completely untethered from the internet?
The main advantage of this is you can redo the hack even if you're away from an access point.
Okay one taker, that's enough. That would be awesome. Count me in.
Just try with that (O3DS FW10.1U), and works pretty fine! Thanks, man!... I hope this will be helpful for many people!Okay one taker, that's enough.
The only difference from the original is that it loads all payloads from the sd card making it truly portable.
