Then suck it up and deal with mediocre emulation. Even if there was on a working PS1 emulator for the 3DS with full kernel access, it would still be awful.
You would save time and stress just going with a better alternative. You can buy a half decent smartphone at Wal*Mart for like 50$ or a PSP used for like 40$.

the PSX emu is only in CIA form at the moment. It might become available in 3DSX form sometime. There some great emu's out there, like NXengine aka Cave story, Gameyob, Blargsnes, PrBoom3DS aka Doom 1,2 and other mods, if you have a N3DS Spectre3D aka quake runs great, just hard to play on the O3DS cause of the lack of a cstick.
