Was the aftermarket joystick drift on vWii ever fixed (or researched, if anything)

So there's this glitch/issue/whatever that vWii titles, both official and injected, have if you've had the bad luck of having to replace your gamepad's joysticks for the only option available wich was - and seemingly still is - a set of aftermarket, brandless sticks.

I had to do this after hundreds of gameplay hours and i was never able to play vWii games again with the Gamepad, in any format: Gamecube injects, vWii injects or official vWii installs.

I took my console out of the box recently to test the PCSX ReARMed core and tested my vWii games both with Aroma and Tiramisu, only to find out that the issue is still there. It works perfectly on native Wii U games, but vWii software still suffers wild drift when played with a gamepad that had its sticks replaced.

Was ever found why?
