PRO Online is custom firmware that enables PSP 2000s and 3000s to connect to coldbird.net and play adhoc multiplayer via the Internet. PSP2(/i) does work with it though, there's video proof of it on Youtube.

I suppose the important question for someone like me is, will I be able to patch the .iso and play it on PPSSPP? (sorry if this has been answered a million times already)
I'm using the latest PPSSPP build work just fine and I have shitty Windows 8.1Must be one of the lucky few who it works on Windows 7 for. Tried it, and still can't get into missions. Not a big deal though. I'm not in a rush, and can just wait for Windows 10.
Awesome, and yeah, the depth fix is great. Been playing the game fairly frequently since they updated it. Though I imagine this translation project has made your ability to just play the game and enjoy it a bit more difficult. I ran a Minecraft server for 3 years, and it totally burned me out since doing it. Lol.Yes, screens are from PPSSPP, there's now an options to fix the graphic problems from before
Just a question and which I think has been asked a hundred times already, how is online multiplayer on ppsspp?that screenshot its beautiful great job

We won't be distributing an .iso, probably just a .xdelta patch for people to use with backups from their own UMDs...
For clarification, I'm a moron for not remembering that only UMD exists. I'm sorry, I was deliriously tired, and clearly very confused. I have edited my previous posts. ;PY-yeah guys, for use with your own umd only... ;D
Yeah, the online, and the ability to remap with a controller is amazing. (mapped it to play like Phantasy Star Universe on 360) Though the issue still stands for online play that the host has to be someone on Windows 8/8.1/10 or the ever so lucky Windows 7 user, in order for the unlucky lot like me on Windows 7 to be able to play the multiplayer portion of the game.PSP2i multiplayer works great on PPSSPP, the biggest problem I've noticed is that sometimes joining players have to keep joining because it shows that they aren't in the game on their screen. It takes a few tries but eventually everyone gets settled in. Havent experienced any lag and everyone is usually in sync with the spawns. The people I play with and I have good internet though. Of course if you can't get it working, theres always the option to just use a PSP with something like xlink kai. But playing with a dualshock 4 or 360 controller at a solid 30fps with no drops sure makes it more enjoyable.
