True, I'm concerned now once Wii U is hacked and you can run Wii U games from the hard drive, will I need 25 GB space for each game? :P
I would assume it would be handled the same way as Wii games. The images will be scrubbed and stored in a sparse file container, similar to WBFS.

Alternatively, if the native Wii U USB storage format is cracked, then individual files can be copied over as-is, and a disc image won't be needed.

I doubt it. Pikmin 3 is less than 4GB and Windwaker is just as small. Disney Infinity on the other hand is over 10GB. I will be game dependent. While 25GB is the capacity of the Wii U disc Nintendo is not forcing anyone to use it all up.

I want to confirm - Is anyone else unable to access Chao racing in Sonic Adventure DX USA?

I'm not posting and posting because it's fun - I'm posting again because no one has either confirmed or denied this problem and so I don't know whether it should be updated on the compat. list...
I haven't tested that, I'll go test it now and confirm later!

Probably yes maybe even up to 50 gb for some.
I honestly don't see it being viable till we have like 10tb hdd and such affordable.
I haven't followed the 3DS hacking for a while so I don't know (I buy 3DS and Wii U games legally anyway, I only pirate games I don't plan on buying or games that are no longer supported and can't be bought legally) but last I checked it used to use full rips of the games if I'm correct, that's like 2 GB for each game, this sucks!

Extracted isos like with MultiMan on the PS3 (or in this case Nintendot) would be nice!

I hope so, I also want 3DSware support at some point, it's sad how DSiware and 3DSware format isn't cracked yet!

nakata6790 There are already two builds of Nintendont necessary. One to use the original hardware such as bongos, microphone and GBA-link and the other one is the official version. If I have a library of 50+ games it sounds ridiculous to have to use 10 different versions of Nintendont to be able to play my library, I believe regressions should be addressed as soon as possible before major changes are done to the code which could make it more difficult to fix games caused by updated revisions, and basically going backwards in a sense. I just can't agree that you should only focus on fixing compatibility for games that don't work and breaking a bunch of other games along the way, your possibly causing a bigger headache down the road and most people aren't going to want to have a difficult setup where u need 5,6 or 10 different builds of a program let alone search for which rev is the one that works for your game, again it sounds crazy.

Optimally and hopefully at the end of the day we will only need two or at the most three revisions of Nintendont to run everything ;)

Point taken mate :) I do have to say though, my collection is now 150+ GC games, only 6 not yet working in nintendont, and that's only using a combo of 3 different Nintendont builds.

JoostinOnline ID for Virtua Striker 2006 in "GVSJ8P" guess only the region letter in the difference.

pokeparadox You're right, just tested Sonic Adventure DX and the Chao Race crashes while music remains, I tested Sonic Adventure 2 but it works fine, do you know which rev broke it or if it ever worked before?

Anyway tested r1.188 Sonic Gems Collection still black screens after exiting Sonic CD, Godzilla still reboots the console after winning a match, and Chao Race in Sonic Adventure causes the game to freeze while music is still playing, also I think it's worth mentioning that soft reset combo still doesn't work for me but hard reset combo works even in Batman Vengeance and honestly that's good enough for me!

now that you said you used a 16mb memory card that is your issue most likely it has been stated for ppl to not ever use 16mb memory cards they just eat memory up and cause issues to some games i bet if you use 8 mb memory card or less godzilla will work perfectly i simply use one memory card per game with 2 mb i dont know why ppl like risking bugs with the 16mb memory card that eats the memory some games need free.

Even when using a real Nintendo 8MB GameCube memory card on a GameCube had its share of issues as some games didn't like memory cards that big. I also had issues using it on a Wii. The card was constantly getting corrupted (I heard it's an issue with the Wii.

I use a separate 251 Block (2MB) card for each game just to prevent the possibility of one game corrupting the virtual memory card.

Did some testing. AX worked but on the second time. First was Error 12. MKGP1 still does not load. Left it for a few mins a few different times. Sonic Mega Collection is now working for me. Up until 188 the sound was not working in sonic 2 and 3. Now they are. I seen back a few comments that someone had MKGP1 running. My version is in fact the 336mb version. Like I said before the last time MKGP1 worked for me was 167. It ran perfect. Not sure what caused it to not work but hopefully soon it will work. In the meantime the dudes working on this deserve some dam celebration cake. Keep up the great work.

I am currently having an issue with the real memory card saves. It seems like every time I attempt to boot the game and use a save from the memory card, the game (specifically Wind Waker) claims the memory card is corrupt. All I end up doing is shutting down the system, removing and inserting the memory card, checking the memory card via Wii Settings (the saves always show up), and then booting the game again in Nintendont. This fixes the issue, but it can get tiring.

I really appreciate what you guys are doing with Nintendont, and so far the gameplay support and speed is surpassing Dios Mios greatly, but it would be nice to have more solid support for the real memory card. Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to the next the project update.

So finaly I got Pokemon XD, quickly ripped it on my old wii.

You can rip games via the Wii? LOL I had no idea, i thought you needed some specific LG DVD drive or something... I'm obviously about 10 years behind.

I'll have to check my games and see what isn't on the compatibility list at all... having a brief look I have NTSC-J Twin Snakes and PAL Crash Tag Team racing... now how do I rip games haha... then again they are probably already online somewhere.... and there are alt regions already reported working so probably not even needed. Either way - good to know it's possible!

What size memory card are you using? 59, 251 or 1019 blocks?

memory card is handled natevily by the gc code so theres nothing nintendont does to mc if your using the real memory card it just reverts back to nintendo official mc code what size is you memory card?

Most ppl here who have random issues make sure your using a small memory card why doesnt everyone uses individual memory cards if they are using mcemu i will never know.

Only Wii's with GameCube ports can rip GameCube games, other Wii's and the Wii U can't.

Just to let everyone know and to answer the call for more testing, I plan to be testing all my games. Unfortunately I dont get much free time. It will only be a quick 3 min play for each game, nothing too thorough. All games that appear broken Ill ask for confirmation first. Ill try and replicate any issues in the comments box also.
Will only be a handful of games each day but some of these games havn't been updated on yonks

Yeah cool - I have a black WII with GC ports - I was annoyed after I got it I realised it wouldn't play DVD-R games like the White one - I bought like 15 mini dvd-R on clearance one day lol.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
