Did you already create the .dol file?
I am just about to install the GNU Make command since I think I don't have it to build right now the mod version of Nintendont.

No I'm at work sadly after a few days off for my vasectomy (on a side note, ouch) but I have Sun/Mon off so I might fool around with it.

Already compiled and tested the swap button changes with Nintendont, oh my god now I can play Megaman Anniversary Collection the way it should be! even with my old NES pad connected to a SNES/NES to Wii converter that acts as a classic controller. Thanks for the instructions ShadowOne333 :yaywii:

HEY UPLOAD THE .DOL XD
I was just about to compile it but I'm running with some issues with the build.bat

Please upload the .dol to a website or send it to me PM and I will upload it in my DropBox account and put it here for anyone to enjoy :)

Did you change the buttons as I explained in the post?
Or did you make a Custom layout?

THANK YOU!

OK, here is the mod version of Nintendont with the buttons changed:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/bxij1mgkughhqje/Nintendont (BT Button Swap Mod).dol?dl=0

Just rename the .dol to boot and add it to your apps/Nintendont folder!
ENJOY PEOPLE! :D

Credit to zerofalcon for compiling the build.

EDIT:
Cyan I know a lot of people wanted that configuration of buttons.
Could this post be added to the repository?
Or will this fall under the "mod" category?

The .dol is in the DropBox link I provided and the only change made was to PADReadGC.c
Here is the modified .c that can be added to the Changes repository as a attached file.

it's just a mod for me.
Button mapping can and will probably be added later (or sooner. I don't know on what FIX and Howard are working).

nunchuck/wiimote could be hard to map on gamecube games.
maybe different maps for different games, because you will miss a stick, and button position are not easy on the wiimote.
but if some games don't require all buttons/sticks, that might work.

So if the Wii U Pro is connecting, the correct LED lights up, but none of the buttons do anything, what do I do? Is there anything to turn on to get a error log?
White Wii.
what game are you trying to play? lots of games is a controller is on port 2 dont acept it, im using my original and fake wiiu pro controller on the wii with bc doors and works perfectly, remenber if you havve a gc controller atatched or an hid on bt controller will always stay after them GC>Hid>Bt

So what is the work around? I don't understand what you are saying.

Yours was right, but when I tried the mod, pressing X on my Pro controller was like pressing A on a GC. So the re-configuration made to the mod was backwards.

Holy sh*t, I just tested it and yes, the re-mapping is backwards.
Pressing X acts as button A, pressing A is like pressing B and so on.

I will have to make a build with the proper mapping, wait a while...

there is no workaround if your using wiiu pro controller on slot 2 on games that only use the slot one it wont work just unplug your gc controller and turn hid off, lots of games only read slot 1 unless they have multiplayer.
