Ha, so you have nothing to compare it to then. If you could try mariokart gp2 on sd and then usb you would see that the lag is still obviously there.

Yeah, the lag is even more noticeable via USB (HITACHI HDD FAT32/32kb), MKGP 1&2, Virtua Striker 4 ver. 2006 and F-Zero AX runs less laggy with my SD CARD (Sandisk nonSDHC FAT/64kb)

Just get a little bit time to create the cheat codes for freezing the timer. Below is the video to show that the codes work. You could see the codes in the video description, or you could use the attached file.

Thanks for this, conanac; it will surely make playing this game a good deal more enjoyable and much more like a home game than an impatient arcade machine. I added an extra line to your code to hide the frozen timer:

Same for me, with Seagate free agent Go.
I tried Fzero AX, and I have some lags which I didn't have on MicroSDHC class4 32k.
With MarioKart GP2, it lags every 500ms

Darn, USB isn't supported in USB Loader GX (yet)

The binary doesn't contain QuadForce text anymore, so it's not detected as QF with current USBLoaderGX.
I updated the pattern detection and am testing it right now, I'll release it shortly.

OK. So I have a NAND bacup on my USB and playing Wiiware off of it. I also have MIOs 2.10 for Gamecube backups off a USB. Can I finally run Quadforce on the usb without overwriting Dios-mios? I saw something in the instructions like;

*When using SNEEK r195 or higher you can copy the quadforce.bin to:

usb:/sneek/quadforce.bin

otherwise you have to copy it to:

usb:/title/00000001/00000100/content/00000008.app (When using MIOSv10)"

but I can't figure it out.

Btw, anyone working on those VS time codes? I'm looking for a simple code to allow 10min halves in single and 2player modes(Without the need for button activation every time). Perhaps the wiird forums are a better place to ask about these sorts of things? I'm open to any suggestions.

Nope big guy, I believe there's enough space in QF that it supports both SD/USB now.

And its only about programming stuff that certainly not everyone knows about. Its great that you knew it wouldn't make a difference to have USB support, but these people that hoped it would remove a lag aren't as knowledgeable as you on that subject. However, I guarantee they all are knowledgeable about something that you aren't. That doesn't make them idiots, that just makes them different from you with different passions. The sooner you realize this and embrace this and stop acting like you're better than others cuz you know certain things that they don't, the sooner you'll start getting more out of life and others that you meet. we can all learn from each other, but as soon as we start having a sense that others are dumber than us, then we start to hinder our own abilities to learn more and grow.

QF 4.1 working perfectly here using WF 906 and DM-Booter games on fat32/32k usb with mild lag, but games are fully playable and enjoyable.
