i agree with that... look at the DS games most of them is lack of graphics but when someone push the Console to the limit they create a list of a good graphics games...but the sad part of that they create a good graphic game when the DS life is really low...

TBH even the best looking DS games still look like bad PSP games on a good day though. I'd say the same for the 3DS although the gap is a bit smaller.
the worst looking vita game will diffidently look better than the best looking 3ds game since it's hardware is much better and stronger than it.

The thing is that u focus on graphics too much... A game is not all about graphics... Really... If i want graphics i will play games on my pc... why should i get a vita for it? The point of a game is to have fun. In my point of view, I enjoyed way much more the zelda on the wii with bad graphics than playing crysis on my pc... And that is what about games are for... Enjoy..
As for the vita-3ds comparison, I personally chose to get a 3ds. The 3d effect and the whole philosophy of nintendo to focus more on gameplay and fun games is what made me get the 3ds... And i really enjoy it.

i agree with that i little bit... because the DS has a poor screen compare it to the psp but why did they intend to emulate DS wanting to play those Bad Quality games?? because they like those games

I didn't say the games were bad quality, they're just poor graphically in comparison to its competition. The DS has an awesome library, just nothing particularly good on the visuals end of it.

They wanted to emulate the DS because it sold a lot.

IMO Super Mario 3DS Land looks way better than anything seen on PS1.

As for visual fidelity between 3ds and vita. Obviously vita can pull more polys, more effects, etc. It'll be the better graphical experience, it's just got better hardware.
I don't own a PSV but from the videos shown online of it, it's easy to say that most games on PSV will look better than anything on the 3DS. There will probably be a few crappy looking games on the PSV. Mainly the ports and the poorly designed games.

Wouldn't the addition of a second analog nub in a redesign just antagonize early adopters even further?

those adopters should grow up and not be such cry babies, they did not cry that the DSI had a faster Processor, a cam and a bigger screen either.
The DSi is actually a whole-new console, it was just backwards-compatible and had like, how many games? 5? That and DSiWare. I'm still not sure why it was marketed as a DS when it was really an entirely separate machine. But yeah, you are absolutely right - revisions are a natural thing in gaming and some include add-ons. The PSP Fat had no microphone built-in, the PSP-3000 has one. The PSP Fat had 32 MB of RAM, the PSP-2000 and onwards had 64. Same console, different feature - let's hear a round of applause for progress.

so? How many games will make the second stick mandatory? 0? so who cares if a new version has a better screen and a second stick?
>will make the second stick mandatory
>will
>Future tense
You finally get that time machine working then?
oh well, if you speak perfectly german, french and if english is your third language, than ok, but seriously, thats just poor, Im not a native speaker, so learn first german and french, after this you can bash about my grammar.

I don't know why you talk off topic about Skype...voip over ds...like hellods? nah, I suppose some people just need to say something for saying something,hu?
but lets go back to what I said, the second Stick wont be mandatory and you can still buy this bulky add-on, so no one is left behind.

well if you cnat get over it, ok, well, c'est la vie.

anyway, its late...good night...
Read the entirety of the quote pyramid, I was clearly refering to the PSP. If you don't want a 3DS with a built-in second analog, that's fine, but that's just your opinion. I wouldn't mind if the 3DS was bulkier if it offered better functionality.

Im on your side, I want the 3DS has a second stick...what are you talking about?

Oh i don't care about your grammar. I just don't care for the outright declaration that no 3DS game will ever make the second stick mandatory

@[member='Midna'], no way to know for sure, but I'm betting that games will follow the trend of resident evil revelations and snake eater and have options for dual analog without making them mandatory. Think about it from the company's perspective: it would just be lost money to them if they made the game exclusive for a cpp or 3ds revision that many people won't have or want to spend money on.

But hey, it could happen.

I agree with Watchman, its very unlikely for any company to make a game that requires an accessory that doesn't come with it (I swear to god if I see, Red Steel 2 boxes or some uDraw shit...) Plus, like I have said oh so many times, the second stick isn't something required since there's a touch screen. Unless your some kind of half-baked company that makes games that are solely based on some stupid accesory (IM TALKIN TO YOU THQ!) nobody is going to be stupid enough to make games that require it.

The thing with the CPP is that, in the US, it is only available at Gamestop stores. If such an item were to be required at any point, the availability would not be so limited.
Wrong thread?

Was in response to a couple posts just above mine, talking about a mandatory second stick, but that was already off-topic by then.

Not to drag on a lot with the whole CPP talk but, imo, I really dislike one CP. Don't get me wrong, Revelations, etc. are really great games, but having only one do the job of what is kind of meant for two feels really awkward to me. I like the idea of the use of a 2nd one being built into future games though, that way people won't have to buy a revision or CPP if they don't wish to, but they still aren't cut off from the rest of the generation.

it wont and I would even bet for it.
Kinda like the Wii Motion Plus? Quite a few people said that not a single Nintendo Wii game will ever need a mandatory Motion Plus added to the WiiMote. Look at what Skyward Sword brought us :creep:

Very true. But there's a difference between an add-on (wii motion plus, n664 expansion pack) and a new system entirely. True, I suppose you could use the cpp, but th wii motion plus and expansion pack didn't hinder any other part of their respective systems the way the cpp hinders the 3ds (portability, off center, etc)

The Motion+ was an enhancement to the already existing method of reading motions. You didn't play games any differently. You just got more accuracy out of it for those that required it.
I don't see your point. It's as if you're trying to say that the Motion+ was less significant and therefore less likely to get games that required it. And it did get games that required it. The logical conclusion from your post is that the 3DS will have more games requiring it than the Motion+

Try to actually say something with your post, instead of just pointing out the differences. I don't think you meant to imply that.
