I'd rather waste time constantly refreshing the page like 133 other users of this website.

Okay I was refraining from it, but I'll bite. What's preventing you from taking a simple snapshot if you truly do have it? Before you get mad - I'm not asking if you have it, and I'm not even asking you to prove you have it. I just want to know your reasoning. I can completely understand not wanting to leak it since the potential financial costs are tremendous. But a picture can't really be traced back to you (nor would it even get you in legal trouble even if it could be traced to you)
I get where you're coming from, and since I don't really want to start anything, I'll just say that my reasoning for not doing so is simply because I feel like I have nothing to prove. Even if I were to present proof, it would bring none of us any closer to getting the game. Believing me or not is up to you guys, but let's try to keep it civil, I don't want this thread to end up like the other one.

In any case, I'll still look out for you guys, regardless of what has happened in previous threads. I think I owe you guys at least that much.

instead of wasting time trying to figure out if someone has it we should waste time trying to find out if its available online
Well, I can only tell you that it has *not* appeared on any of my usual sites and trackers. Neither ZRI nor ZRY. And taking that (false?) name into consideration and the fact that PAL/NTSC infos are missing, I'd dare to say it's fake for the time being. If anything changes, I'd be just as delightful as everyone, but the probability for that to happen is rather low :/

Gotcha. Personally, if I actually had the game, I'd probably take a pic disc channel screen w/ my phone just so I can discuss the game with others without getting "hated" on.

Anyway, I do think there's a decent chance it'll leak soon - the "lesser" sites are getting review copies now, so there's a much larger chance that someone will be daring enough to upload the game.

Thank you everybody for staying civil even when discussing such a touchy topic. I am really impressed at the level of maturity being shown in this thread, it is very atypical of this forum, and of web forums in general.

EDIT: I'm realizing that posting this sorta stuff could get me caught up in legal things, even though I've done nothing that resembles breaking NDA or distributing code, so I'm afraid I'm going to retreat. I apologize. Enjoy the wait.

Thanks for the filesize, it will help a lot in determining fake downloads. It would also indicate that the game is single layer. I would request though that you post some evidence that you have access to the game. Perhapse you could post a picture of a save file with the name samred or something (seems like it shouldn't violate anything in the NDA), or we know that pictures of the disk are OK, could you take a picture of it next to your name. Otherwise I would request that you refrain from further implying that you have access to the game. Assuming you do have it, can you post if there is a new system menu in the update partition? Otherwise, there must be some information of use that Nintendo would have overlooked in their NDA.

Interesting! Judging by the file size (Assuming it's the game), it's not dual layered. Which begs the question: How in the world can the game be so huge with 1 layer?

The second layer is pretty much only needed when a lot of FMVs are used and/or when there's [a lot of] voice acting. I would imagine most (if not all) of the cutscenes in SS are rendered in real time, so they take next to no space.

With that said, even 3.93GB is pretty huge if the game has *no* pre-rendered cutscenes.

If you do a real rip with something like cleanrip, you can rip the game, and then open it with something like Wiiscrubber and extract the system menu wad form the update partition. The version number would then tell you what system menu it requires.

I asked for evidence. For the time being though, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, however, if you chose to not believe him, just don't get nasty about your disbelief.

I don't know, why must people always choose to be mistrustful?

because we've been toyed around with (i wont mention by who incase i get modded) already. and from waht i hear its not uncommon for peopel to lie about leaks of big releases but ive never been so hyped for agame that i keep refreshing a topic every 30 minutes to see if a leak has come out so i cant say for sure. either way with no proof im not going to get excited here.

Because people tend to lie when they can hide behind the anonymity of the internet. Sometimes it's just to get extra attention (that they presumably don't get in their offline lives), but usually it's just to rile people up.

All right guys, let's chill for awhile. This always happens whenever a filename gets mentioned. Let's just chill, have a level head, and wait. If it's real, awesome. If not, oh well. We'll have it soon enough.

3.93 GB. The NDA is so thick, they won't even let me post the track names on the symphonic CD that comes with the game.

EDIT: Sorry, not gonna post photos or other stuff about it. I'd rather not ruffle the wrong feathers, as I'd imagine Nintendo lurks on here, but I'm a fan of GBATemp, particularly since its efforts have enabled legitimate users to play games like Xenoblade Chronicles in other territories. No reason not to post tiny bits of info while y'all wait for the inevitable downstream of data from someone.

I'm so behind on the homebrew scene, I can't even figure out how to dump the game onto a USB drive--keep getting USB drive error messages on the GX channel--though I kinda wish I did, at least to see how the load times would be reduced. The drive definitely chugs when loading things like the flying segments.
