@Antoligy>

I tried your suggestion for PHP redirect and it did not work for a couple of reasons. I have managed to get a different one working with PHP, the 3DS, and redirecting computers.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Currently I am converting the index to a PHP document instead of an HTML document which may be done in the next hour.

UPD: Homepage is now a PHP, only about 10 minutes late =p Including newer redirect not involving javascript.

i was wondering if the 3ds infrared emitter emits any signals when you press buttons or the d pad while its in the camera mode, cause if it did we could design an emulator on our pc where it has a split screen ,one side would be a fraction of a second behind the other one ,maybe like 1/8 or 1/16 or 1/32 of a second ,then you could map the controller inputs for the emulator to an infrared receiver connected to your pc ,then you just watch it on you monitor through the 3ds cameras ,similar to how they have youtube videos that are split screen for viewing in 3d , if there is nothing emitted from the infrared on the 3ds when the camera app is on, which is most likely the case i would assume, then you would have to use another method to control it

Looks. 'effin'. Sexay.
edit: Nintendo are seriously stupid for restricting the browser so much. Lots of reasons, cannot be bothered to list.

nice, i tried it out yesterday, keep up the good work mate.
i remember seeing something about the netfront 3ds browser open source code here someware.

i think here
http://gbatemp.net/t...3ds-webbrowser/

I wish people would stop bringing this up...

Yes, there is some source code from the web browser released by Nintendo. It is far from the complete source, and it is completely useless. Particularly in this case.

ok, about the source code with Nintendo:

Imagine if I used source code X to make source code XY. Source code XY is my modification to source code X. Source code X is protected by LGPL, so I MUST distribute source code X but I don't have to distribute source code XY because source code XY is not required to distribute by LGPL.

No, that is not possible using this because barely anything is known about making 3ds mode homebrew and even less so how to run it with javascript. (there were some crashes but homebrew scene doesn't know how to make executables)

Just a small update on a couple things:

1) I noticed this has been copied to some portuguese/italian threads and seems to be mistranslated/misread. I only provide homebrew but it can support commercial NES ROMs.

2) I am adding new homebrew ROMs as tests tonight, and maybe a couple new buttons to clear up some space on the bottom screen.

3) I partially booted a 256KB homebrew ROM about an hour ago after tinkering with some parts of loading, however it took > 1 minute to load and only loaded the first frame. However, it did get FPS clocked at 0.31 (though only displayed 1 frame) and ran for 5-10 seconds. Nothing major yet but it's one step closer to booting larger ROMs.

4) I believe NES Zapper works but I am still doing some tests. (One new homebrew tonight will hopefully include a working zapper example)

5) I successfully ran a tiny example of 3D NES-style.

6) Good news! I'm not even using 1MB yet on the N3dES website. (Just a fun fact to show this is a lightweight engine even with several roms)

7) I took a couple new pics :

UPD:

Sorry so late =p I've added "Stuck In Castle Nessenstein" and "Zombie Zap" to playable homebrews. I've had some issues with controls though include the A button on these homebrews so I will fix them but I wanted to get something out for Halloween tonight.

Zombie Zap uses a *beta* NES Zapper (scroll game window to bottom screen and touch with touch pen) which I believe works but there might be miscalculations (considering this isn't the same size as jsnes originally had it). It appears to work OK for me though. You may have to tap a few times though if it doesn't appear to work for you.

It doesn't work in 3DS mode because the web browser run in a sandbox and don't have access to 3DS hardware
Sorry :S

That is so not how chromosomes work my friend!

This is a great project, hopefully it will be able to reach a higher frame rate.
I think you should make it open source, so that others with great coding knowledge can improve on it.
And I just had an idea, probably going to take a ridiculously long time though.
GBAtemp being optimized for the 3DS, it would be great!

this thing is so slow though i cant even tell if even does anything ,and the thing that pisses me off about it is that there is no start button,so how can we get passed the title screen when you have to press start but there is no start button? should have rather left out select rather that start, but really shouldnt leave out either
is there some other button that is supposed to the start button?
