Yes just copy the two files from luma v11 archive to the root of you SD card.
Actually, I just installed the .cia files of sonic 1 and 2 from Universal Updater and now they work perfectly fine. For 2, I had to uninstall the version I got from this thread and then it worked perfectly

Nevermind, it isn't working properly

Did you test with luma 11. If not working, high chance that your game files are responsible of that.
I just downgraded to v11, and it acted the exact same.

So I switched back to the .cia files that were included in this thread, and it worked after I installed them. However, to test a bit more, I rebooted my 3ds, and now it doesn't work anymore...

I also wanna mention that I tried the .3dsx versions from the Universal Updater, and I experienced the same problems

After testing a bit, I believe that the decomp only works the first time after installing. After rebooting, it doesn't. I've also updated back to v12 and that allowed it to work one time again, but another reboot locked it again. I also installed the PC versions and was able to run them with my Data.rsdk files. I tried copying those data files over to my 3ds, but they didn't work correctly. I also installed the Scripts from the decomp, but that changed nothing

So out of nowhere, the games started working one time. I then tried rebooting my 3ds, and they stopped working again. Maybe restarting my system affects the game?

Is it possible to install Sonic 1 Forever on this decomp? Whenever I try I always get this error. I have no other mods installed.

The Decomp of Sonic 1 for the New 3ds systems is complete trash, it doesn't even work, it freezes on the sega screen and is glitched and shows a black background and the word player in white

Runs pretty well but some sounds are kinda off and harsh? For example ring pickup sound (wrong tune and harsh) and sonic 2 logo stars sparkling (wrong tune\note?) (just before music)

Just for sake of me\my device not being a problem. Sonic CD port sounds exactly like it should.

I'm using new 3ds xl and not sure how reinstalling would improve that.

Try reinstalling Luma and disable the setting to use hardware acceleration? There is a specific setting you can enable on Luma on the New 3DS that breaks some games.

Alternatively try with an older version of this App and see if it has the same sound problem.

Any chance this will ever get updated to v1.3.2 of the scripts? Pretty much all mod support is broken now, and the 1.3.0 scripts aren't accessible anymore.
