Gaming Yu-Gi-Oh! 3DS

Are there any current plans to make an Yu-Gi-Oh! game for the 3DS? I think it could turn out rather nice with the 3D effects.

Yu Gi Oh is a long forgotten thing for me at least but I agree it would make for a really cool game if they could make it 3D and battles like the show. Same goes for pokemon. I reckon the first pokemon 3D game is going to be so good

If they made one it would surely use the cameras to augmented reality battles (I hope) with real yu-gi-oh cards. It would be a huge waste not to try it. And considering there's 4-6 yu-gi-oh games on the DS and they were still coming out recently AFAIK then I'm sure one is already in development or being thought of.

The Yu-Gi-Oh Zexel duel disk use augment reality in the anime, so I see no reason why they can't find a way for them to do something similar that can detect real cards.

I like Yu-Gi-Oh it a nice put together card game.

Tho I do notice from the old to the new to the now

rules keep changing.

It would be cool to see a Yu-Gi-Oh AR game.
Should be possible too since the PS3 had that Eye of Judgement AR card game.

As cool as an AR game would be, it wouldn't be able to use the real cards, because unlike the Eye of Judgement, the 3DS doesn't have a stand or tripod. This would make things reaaaaal frustrating.

I'm sure they could make it so it looks like there's a real duel going on, though.

The game(yu-gi-oh) can come with a tripod or stand made for the 3DS, right?

If they do make one, i hope its like Nightmare Troubadour/Spirit Caller. I loved the Story Mode in those, the Duel World and all those other new ones are just annoying.

Well, Duel World was pretty good too, but dear god those AI had some unholy luck at some points

I'd buy it if it let you use the trading cards as Augmented Reality cards. Possible... Play on a flat surface using one of those duel sheets. Multiplayer duels with other people with a 3DS.

The game is TBA with no info at the moment.
IF it follows the TV show, I think it's likely to finish the 5D's storyline or start the Zexal storyline.

I really don't expect them to use the 3DS' features to it's max with these games although it would be nice....

5ds is not terrible it is a big improvement from that crap called yugioh gx

Hey don't knock GX >_<
It wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either... Especially with the last couple of seasons. 5D's does knock GX out of the ball park after a bit though....

5D's just made everything confusing and overpowered. Getting monsters with 4k+ attack pulled on me on the first turn? Nty

GX was pretty good. Shame that 4kids cancelled it.

And dint judge ZEXAL prematurely. We did that with 5Ds, now look at it!
