Yea like the topic descriptions states, is there a way to get the english patch to work with the iso? I read that they purposely made it that people with iso's cant use the patch.

Burn the iso to a disc, it's now a disc not an iso ?
Or maybe you are talking about Anti Piracy detection and it's designed to work only with original game disc?
I've read quickly the install instruction, they don't talk about ISO restriction at all.
You just need to install the game, then update using the DATA disk (not the official 1100 patch!), then run the patch installer.
