Watch the video in OP. You clearly don't need to keep tapping it. You probably did it wrong.
I was tapping it just once though, before the tapping repeatedly for it to work.

I dunno which is the correct way... Was it like press & hold the far left or far right of the slider? In the video I only saw you quick-pressing it using your finger.

Yep... Just that way!
thank you =)

another thing..... can i use this to install themehax to use homebrew channel without internet connection? or this a tottaly different thing, with no relation each other

I had the same problem with Princess Emily, still no signs of success... tried to tap every single right or left slider after being zoomed, clear history and cookies, initialize data, and do that again.. still not works...
Ehm, a little clue maybe, when i was with tubehax, the change firmware version is not showing, so i had to use force tubehax (which now is disabled)
Is there any file or thing i am lack of? is it my internet maybe?

Well, as @teampleb said: not neccesary tapping repeatedly in normal conditions! But, if this way works for some people, I don't see any problem to do it too!

And, about right or left sides, anyone of them works!

thank you =)

Yeah!... And is completely related!

Do you have boot.3dsx on your SD card?

thank you both of you =)

i just made this questions because i only use tubehax....sadly until today -.-

for what i understand.... themehax only can be patched with a system update right?
Apparently yes!... But, in that case, only option is keep away any update!

Themehax and Browserhax can only be fixed with a system update.

wait, it is showing a yellow screen when i tap the right slider and then crash when i change my internet connection.. a little hope is dawning.. :)

EDIT : Now works, the main problem is with the connection.. try another internet connection, maybe the ISP in my house blocking the server or whatever.. it is working when i change to tethering with mobile data.. Thanks for the help guys, really appreciate your kindness :)

Finally...after tons of patience...it worked! somehow...So I was able to install themehax.
Thanks a lot guys!

PD: It is not possible to use custom themes with themehax, isn't it? o__o

Yes, ATM not possible!

It is if you want to figure out how to compile it. I haven't on Windows yet.
I'll just wait for any Yellows8 official release, to avoid that manual compiling hard way!... Next release apparently will solve issue with install custom themes!

There's a high chance you still need to compile it with a decompressed body_LZ.bin, due to LZ11 compression.

In that case, still would be annoying!... But, I guess (or hope) Yellows8 solution is related with install ThemeHax without get corrupted an installed theme after all! Then, not manually compiling way needed more!
