Hacking Wood Kernel for Gold Pro?

I recently bought an R4 Gold Pro because it was cheap and my old R4 RTS died on me. I really want to use the sleeker wood kernel this thing is supposed to support but all my searching leads to dead ends.

Can someone help me get the link to the right wood kernel or is there something I'm doing wrong?

No, that brand just doesn't support it. R4ids.cn is supported officially, and a few others carts can run a hacked version, but r4isdhc.com carts cannot (at least not ones made since 2014).

Well ok then. Still sucks. Guess I'll save up for the Gold RTS.

Actually is there any chance on fixing my old card? When I ever I put it in a device it will give me that black screen error message. I heard updating it could fix it but I don't know how to do a manual update using another DS. I have a New 3ds XL and an old DSi.
