Gaming Winter Games Help

Im stuck in mario and sonic at the olympic winter games. I have 3 crystals from polostraits, and I just got yoshi.
The omichao told me to go to sparkletown, then through a pipe to the edge of town, and then to activate a switch with yoshi.
I have been through every pipe in sparkletown however, and I have not found a switch anywhere. Can anybody help me?

i think your suppose to have 4 crystals to progress through the game

There are only 4 pipes that I have found, and basher...did you read my post? I know I need four crystals, but there are no more to collect until I hit that switch.
