You don't need to extract an ISO to play it on a Wii
all you have to do is burn it
NO EXTRACTION NECESSARY if it's just a plain ISO

The iso proabably isnt damaged i burned wii sports resort it plays fine but when i opened it up in winrar it said the same thing you dont need to extract the iso extract the rar then search for the .iso file burn it onto the dvd

silly folks read properly what he was saying. he had a rar, got an iso out of it, and now is trying to extract that also for whtever reason.
winrar for SOME ridiculous reason always ads .iso as a file extension that is opened by winrar, thus windows describes it as a winrar file.
BUT you should not extract it ofcourse. Just because windows tells you a file is a certain file type that doesn't mean anything.
a .rar you extract, a .iso you burn. VERY simple.

Ok, thanks for all the help guys but I've solved my problem and this topic has really no need for more posts. Also, sorry manias, but you're wrong. What I was trying to say was that I got .rar file which had an ISO in it. I was trying to extract the .rar file to get the ISO out so that ImgBurn could read it and burn. My problem was that WinRAR could not extract the .rar file, not the ISO.
