but still where do i download dosbox for 3ds... oh wow, one of my posts on this thread was removed because of pirated content

Yes, I tried to tell you it wasn't allowed, and since you continued posting without removing those links I reported it. Windows 95 is copyrighted software, you can't just post links to ISOs here like that.

As for dosbox for the 3DS, a simple google search would have shown you: https://retroarch.com/?page=platforms#

Search around online, there are videos and stuff on YouTube. Prior experience using Dosbox helps. It's easiest if you install Windows 95 on a hard drive image file on your computer and then copy that image file to your N3DS microSD and set up Dosbox to boot it.

Hello :)

A complete other question:

I´ve "tried" Windows 95b (and NO it´s not bootable. :)) on Oracle Vitrual Box because of a few children games (Teletubbies,Bear in blue house etc.) running only there. But the 3D support/Drivers for Graphiccards as known is very limited.:( So no Game is really running....

My questions to you:

Is there 3D support for Windows 95 under/in Dos Box ? (my option are Wii and maybe XBOX,no 3DS,no Andriod and Switch.)
Are there any chances for my games ?

RHOPKINS13:
I used to run Windows 95 on my Original Xbox using Qemu to show off to my friends.

Is there 3D functionality for Games ? Would it maybe work for my games ?:)

Thank you for reading.:)

Dosbox was originally made for PC, and you're far more likely to be successful using it on a PC than a Wii or Xbox when running Windows 95. There are numerous guides out there for setting it up, most people use S3 Trio drivers with it and seem to have some success. I'm not sure, but some of those children's games rely on QuickTime to play back videos. Personally I ran into an instance where I needed to load a very specific version of QuickTime in order for a game not to crash.

I didn´t know that´s possible to install Win95 in DosBox.I´ve using it many years before but only for playing DOS Adventures.Well then thats good news.:toot:

Yes thats quite right,i´ve got this "alternate" Quick time version before and now the chances are good for the games to work.

Thank you again.:)

I'm not sure about the boot diskette image, but that ISO link is definitely not allowed here.
how do you make this appear on every post?
N3DS running 11.3 with boot9strap & Luma. Will update if and when a viable alternative to CTR-HTTPWN is found.

I see this on almost everybodys posts
is there any way I can put this on my posts... based on the way yours is i will put this in
N3DSXL running 11.8 with boot9strap & Luma 9.1.

That's totally unrelated to this thread, you should have either created a new thread or just sent me a PM...

Anyway, that's the Boot9Strap Day 1 Installer Badge:

But what you need to do is edit your account signature. Please refer to the signature guidelines first:

Are you saying that Teletubies and Bear in Blue House require 3D support, or are you trying to run something else?

Your best options for getting old 3D games running are PCem and BoxedWine. You may also have some luck with dgvoodoo. None of those are available for the 3DS, of course (and some will require a fairly powerful computer).
