Windows Phone 8, how to lock

I know this is a silly question, but how do I lock my windows phone 8 again once I've unlocked it?
There's a timer before it locks, but what if I want to lock it manually?

I can hit the switch on the side, but then it sorta shuts down, until I hit the switch again. Then it's in thje lock screen. Is that the right way to lock a WP8?
