I guess this topic came around very often already, still was wondering if there can be any workaround or a way to boot legal backups from a USB HDD connected to Switch without installing them to SD like Xecuter did.
Also if there is a way to load Roms for something like Retroarch or other emulators from an external HDD.
I know, that the devs behind Atmosphere don't want this and it is a sensitive topic but since Switch is slowly reaching it's end, was wondering if anyone looked into a way to maybe give an unofficial plugin or something like that as it would be too convenient.
I guess the reason is, that XCI files are not really legal and NSP files can not be played directly. Where there ever any attempts to use another way to make them playable without using Nintendo's code, etc.?
