Hacking wiisx forwarder freeze

Every time I try to load Wiisx from a forwarder, it freezes. All the other forwarders work fine. I've tried 4 different ones. What can I do to fix it?

Most likely the channel isn't finding the wiisx folder in the apps folder. Or the boot.dol is missing from that folder or it's named something different.

Make sure the folder is there and has the dol file in it.

I did. ---->SD\Apps\WiiSX\BOOT.DOL
It doesn't boot

I just played some Legacy of Kaïn (through a channel forwarder) this morning, so it certainly has to work. But you're right that wiisx doesn't like forwarders very much. I got it to work using qwertymodo's forwarder. But it's not "just" that forwarder that you'll need.

As mentioned in that thread, it is IOS58 enabled...so you have to install it (if you don't have it already, click here). Qwertymodo also mentions it won't work with the official releases, but that is fine by me: there is a USB2-enabled modification from matguitarist out there that has better speeds (check this linky).
