Just throwing out for ideas:

my controls don't work.

Honestly, I don't know what's wrong. I checked the settings four times, tried with the wiimote, wiimote+nunchuk, wiimote+classic controller and gamecube controller. I'm trying to play Castlevania circle of the moon (the same version that is mentioned in the wiki as "working"), but I'm stuck at the title screen (never thought that "press start" could take so long

).
I tried reconfiguring the buttons, manual and automatic settings, saved to all different locations...all nothing. The only keys that seem to budge is the combination to go back to the menu.

Anyone has an idea what might be causing it?
(probably myself...but I scoured and tweaked just about any setting worth scouring and tweaking)


EDIT: maybe worth mentioning: I also have wii64 (1.1) installed...that one works just fine.

ok i got it all figured out using partition wizard 5. but it plays worse from the hdd it's so slow can't even play. how the hell are you guys playing with these settings: FPS Auto, Frame skip Off, Dithering None using them i get a black screen or it goes as slow as hell running from usb with matguitarist mod? wait do you need a special cios to enable 2.0 support? i think i have rev17 also whats the best bios to use? just the name i need like SCPH100 ?

you need to get cios with USB2.0 support and get the modded wiisx with USB2.0 support.

You need to install hermes cios 202 for usb2 support

No they don't conflic cios r17 install in slot 249

I just tested Breath of fire 4 and the game runs really well besides the intro and a cutscene. I just gotta question can we double speed of the fps when its slow and how do we stop the game with the gc pad without turnin off the wii.

Btw did someone test Valkyrie Profile or Parasite Eve 1 and 2

that's the one i used says downloading which only takes a sec which is bs it wouldn't be that fast than it says failed to install and shuts off back to hbc. fuck it i'll wait for wan to put it in his cios.

EDIT: maybe worth mentioning: I also have wii64 (1.1) installed...that one works just fine.

I had the same problem at first with all Konami games - all you do is set the emu to use the BIOS from wherever you have it installed rather than the current HLU, and also boot from bios..... haven't tried SOTN (got it on XBLA) but the other Konami games now work with gc/cc/etc, and judging by the other posts, so does that....

Does anyone know what the "HLU" Bios is for? I couldn't get it to work on the 2 games I tested on the official Beta 2 release. I had to use the PSX bios. Which is better? Gonna try out the USB 2.0 mod later

the HLE bios is emulated bios. The program performs the bios's low level functions manual rather than using a BIOS dump. Using psx BIOS will probably always be better though.

Almost everyone have problems with the Analog control scheme. It's a bug, I think the team already know it.

The BIOS has nothing to do with emulation speed, AFAIK. It is regardless the version you use.

Anyone else having a problem where when opening a menu once it will save the memory card, yet any time after that it says "Failed to save"?
