Isn't it a tad strange that different region games have such a huge change in size?

Do a few extra languages really make up 800mb?!

Pal coding could be more hard to do :S?

Maybe voice acting in six different languages?

Or maybe a real lazy 60Hz conversion: Game's on the disc twice, once in 50Hz format and once in 60Hz, or something like that. Dunno.

I see Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors NTSC online at 144.01 MB. But that is also RARed. So it may be slightly bigger when un-RARed.

That size is just disappointing though.

because was a Brazilian forum, and the standard in here(Brazil) is NTSC

Just curious about some of the version numbers. Like Guitar Hero PAL 1.0a... was there a non "a" version released of that? Do these alternate versions get dumped ever, and how can I tell what version I have if I rent or buy a game?

The 1.0 or 1.0a is a reference to the version number of the WiiScrubber app, not a version number of the game.

It's normal for PAL releases to be larger than the NTSC, due to the multiple languages (especially audio and video files).

That is a bad release, wrong key.bin, it's actually 2.69GB compressed in rar.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge Of The Warlords PAL is shown in the Wiki as being Scrubbed to 4347MB. How can this be? I am looking at both the original NTSC-U and PAL releases which were between 250-285MB each.
